    Hi, are them used? maybe the conductive plastic below the buttons has lost its conductivity... would suggest to open the controllers and test the conductivity of the buttons with a tester. There are some kits in the internet to replace the conductive plastic, for ir remote. just buy the right diameter.

    The issue is about the verticale Lines.. seems there's shifted pixels. With this mod I have also some shadows in video, but It's only a proto..

    Just build in a proto board. Have the same issue with the betagamma 2600vcs audio video mod... Sigh

This is a Sunnyvale Light Sixer PAL, from UK, used in Italy on a Panasonic Plasma screen. The tv supports both pal and ntsc so this is not the problem.

    Hi all', I've seen this kit and installed It Because It doesn't require any other modification to the main board components. Well, It works, but It shows defects that the RF output doesn't show (or the are mitigated?) Here's the photos of the modded 2600: You can see shadows and Lines not so Crisp. How can I do to enhance the quality? Thanks.

    I'm a little scared to try to use a QuicksShot QS128 on my 2600 after a RIOT fault happened just when I've try to use a QS joystick I've try to repair. The QS I've used has the 9Pin cable cutted out and I've tried to replace it (without a wiring scheme, cannot find anything on internet, trying to deduce the pins with a multimeter). I'm quite sure I've wired right the pins of the replacement cable... but after that RIOT failure I'm not so sure. Maybe is wired right and the QS ask too much current on the 5v pin? or it have a short circuit.. It can be. I've found another used QS (untested but with original cable) but I'm not sure to buy it to play with the 2600. There's someone who use Autofire Joysticks without trouble?

    Omg.. Other issues: Mario at start screen glitches the main title, during game mario disappears Berzerk starts the game with the player over the wall, so the 2600 starts to buzz, if it starts the player disappears Ikari start well, after few seconds the player stuck on top, only can move left and right but it fires continuously. Damn!

    I've powered my Sunnyvale after few weeks to try some new cartidge I've purchased. Starting from one I was sure works: space invaders. Well I see at first sight there's something wrong. The 'invaders' start to be fuzzy and the gamer ship disappears, fire few contimeters far.. Resetting the game does not work, must turn off and on but.. The issue starts after couple of second.. And all other cartridges are the same.. Starts ok, play few seconds the start to glitch.. I've already replace the CPU with a working one because this console cames with black screen.. What can I check? It's the first time that the consolle fails in this manner. Never had this issue before..

    Hi. I've porchased two of these joystick.. The precedent owner cuts the Atari cable so I'm trying to replace it. I've found the stick wires, the a button, but I've other two wires that I cannot map to b button and for exclusion the trigger cable (ehm.. What's the trigger?) Can someone help me?

    With a magnifier I see that the pin connectors inside the holes were wide open, so I've try to close them with a screwdriver.. Will try if this solve. I hope that the connectors won't come back so open.

    I've found two cx-10 joystick on ebay that, after a internal complete cleaning, have problems with connector. Sometimes I need to hold the connector to let the fire or the stick or both works. How can I clean or resume the right electrical connection on the female connector? I've Already try a spray..

    Yes it was the CPU. I've swapped all chips one by one and the result was a faulty CPU.

    Damn, I've see that both junior version have chips soldered directly to the board. These are the cheaper versions of 2600 I can find on ebay

    Can I use chipset from other versions like long/short rainbow?
