Anyway, I just took the dog for a 2-mile walk, earlier on, so hopefully I walked it all off.

I used to like Bubblegum and Licorice a lot, and they're hard to find now.

I was at a ice cream store yesterday and they made homemade ice cream. Cowboy Coffee was great!

I was thinking the same thing watching the promos. Might still be a fun romp though!

ST:TMP was slow and talky by 1979 standards, too. There's a reason everyone loves Khan better.

I like this recut of TMP with the Daft Punk TRON soundtrack a LOT, though.

I think that even "Khan" would be too slow-paced for today's audiences. They're too accustomed to frenetic editing, and the non-CGI effects would pop them right out of the movie.

Khan, was a great movie. Although, Shatner will always be remembered for that cheesy "Khhaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnn" moment. But jaybird3rd, is spot on about today's audiences. Even my own family get bored 10 minutes into movies IF there isn't any action. It's really hard to recommend particular movies without having to explain to them that "Something" will happen.
