Atari 800 at PCS one of the programs in lodi, without the tape drive or controllers. just simple 8k basic. i lamented the lack of a disk drive or BASIC manual but made do anyway, teaching one of the kids and managing some paltry graphics through the XIO command. i think the code was XIO # 3,4,5 or something. really wanted a spectrum but we couldn't secure one. would've loved to teach Sinclair Basic through a zx81 or TS1000

any ideas?

for some reason whenever i use the RTS command, the emulator hangs indefinitely and it drives me nuts. RTS and BRk are both liable to freeze the emulator and force me to lose whatever progress i've made. any help? i'm running an HP Pavillion laptop 64 bit

will the Pal version work with the model 2? i have both the Model 1 and 2 plus the 32X (need extra cords however)

okay, so quick question. does the magnetic burst affect just tapes or will it ruin CD's as well? i ask this because i am afraid it might harm my PS3 or Xbox One.

what are some of the worst levels in video games that you have played or saw others play? mine are Take down, hornets nest, no russian (on veteran the blockade at the edge turns into a wall of doom, no gun in existence, minus sniper rifles, should be able to fire that far), Pavlovs house on Veteran and the Brigade Box on Hard-Veteran (not reinforcements, a tiger). also, i am going to break genre and include every survivor mode level in Alien isolation (let me at least kill 1 xeno) anyone else have any bad levels they hated

After watching the Xeno make it's creepy as hell entry into the station through an upper vent, i went back to the ST lobby and watched as a group of paranoid people died in agony. quite amusing. i then went down to comms control. I see now how we can beat skynet. Every android is apparently equipped with a 6507 processor and walks as if in sludge. Contacted samuels and made my way to San Cristobal. Inside was a drug addicted kook named Kuhlman who needed "Help", with getting meds. Various logs throughout the area point to missing perscriptions and his many adventures in the hospital dispensary. No one should need that much oxy! anyway, i got the card and had a rough time doing so because he forgot to mention the creature being down there with me. i was stuck in the vent for 10 minutes, waiting. then something started quacking (dead serious) and the xeno opened the door to investigate. I went back into the main room and stared at the man who had attempted to kill me. along the way, i took the pipe bomb schematic to fry the monster. For his treachery, he was killed by the monster. Good. Went down to San Cristobal's lower floors and got the meds for taylor. A woman was on the table, her rib cage blown open like a meat sausage. The monster did not pop down as usual, leaving me to (carefully) find the Evacuation controls and escape. Beforehand, i had snagged the Molotov Schematic and had prepped it in case of emergency. Feeling kinky, i decided to bait the monster down with a gunshot. It appeared and i set it's skin on fire. I can imagine the conversation afterwards went like this: Alien 1: IT BURNS!! Alien 2: Who did this? was it her? Alien 1: YES! OH GOD! (cue Alien 2 popping out for the cut scene and dying offscreen) at least that's how i figured it. anyway, i reset the transit control, and am now about to Speak with Marlow about the flight recorder. .

Today is the start of my Novice run. I will be attempting the One shot achievement. The Torrens looks almost exactly like the Nostromo. it's clear the Dev team did their homework. Even the Med Bay is stunning. Voice acting is well done as well. Reminds me of the Pillar of Autumn from Halo. It seems that certain parts of the ship are still under repairs. In B01, part of the wall is Ripped off, the wires still hanging loose like a puppet's strings. Heading to the Bridge. Taylor appears to be a Lawyer for WY, an unexpected Surprise. The lighting in the Kitchen conveys a sense of peace...until Verlaine pipes in that I need to go to the bridge. This first part is altogether silent, save for the ambient noise of running systems. Now here is a surprise: a Commodore PET computer! sadly, the keys are (mostly) blank save for the 2nd,6th, 9th and 12th top keys. the Keyboard is oddly shaped, unlike a modern one. it resembles 2001: A space odyssey's HAL 9000 AI then a true PC. i could be wrong. after all, keyboards differ by region. The lights repeat a pattern:4,10,5 to infinity. a nice touch. no effect on game-play, but expected considering the Source Material LM-LINK, could that be the makers? Both. i tried CBM PRG Studio and it's somewhat hard for me to use. might move to the Apple IIe or Atari 800 to get it to work better. no more pokes, hurts my head could possibly use Java, maybe C

sorry, i will clarify: i am recording with a laptop for now, as my wifi is not working on my desktop. the obvious problem is that i want to do bigger games (doom 3, Call of duty WAW) but my Hard Drive refuses to go back 28 GB because it is eating itself (i don't know what to safely delete or not delete but Software Distribution works for now). until that is resolved, i can only do partial Speed runs. my laptop has over 27 GB and my PC (formally Linux) has more but, my Wnda4100 Netgear wifi usb is not working, nor will it install new drivers (Windows loads but locks up, loading forever). i tried through my laptop, didn't work.
