  1. about how to go about improving the game?.
  2. so, on youtube, i am known as SFC (or Speedruns for Charity USA) SO far, i have done Jagdoom, Batman and robin, Hard Drivin, Heavy Nova (though i coudn't stand more than a minute of it), and others i will do contra hard corps in the future if anyone wants to subscribe. here is the link:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAADDYSsQ-RHexVboF52vLQ?view_as=subscriber
  3. Apparently there is. Body modification is one. a dude cut off his own ding dong. i'd upload a video but viacom is watching
  4. i beg to differ. Snatcher is well animated and both Terminator and Jurassic Park make good use of The Sega CD's audio enhancements
  5. that they are using the original title for the 2600
  6. ...might as well say it: Pac man. Before you flame me, listen. The game is the result of browbeating and limited memory. Fry did what he could, but Atari is at fault here. classic? no, a technical achievement? yes. People always talk of how it killed the industry. i'm talking not about it's flaws, but about it's positive points. For one, Memory wise, i am astonished that someone could squeeze the arcade game into 4k! granted, it looks awful (hell i own both it and ET!) and needs polish regarding graphics. but it plays fine, and the ghosts flicker isn't that bad. i come back to it again and again because it's a simple game and the more i hear of it's infamous legacy, the more i laugh at the haters. So the ghost's flicker and the sound is terrible, so what? i don't care if the screen is a garbled mess and the ghost's resemble demons, i'd still play it. let's face it, there are games that are far worse than E.T and Pac-Man. Like Checkered Flag for Jaguar or Doom for 3DO. edit: Fry is now a millionare
  7. would it be possible to Do a demake of Crysis for the c64? i ask because of a dude's comment as in one of the c64 commercials joking that he tried to play Crysis on the 64. Just a question, not going to do it. too many pokes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_f3uIzEIxo
  8. I've noticed a weird thing with action and Altirra. the Caps Lock key refuses to function properly if it is booted up
  9. there's a youtube video of a guy acing the game with just the blue weapon
  10. the reason i tried it is due to this: https://arstechnica.com/staff/2012/12/first-encounter-compute-magazine-and-its-glorious-tedious-type-in-code/
  11. Mission 16, i made it through the seegson sec. group and made a wrong turn,, accidentally taking the elevator down to the lobby. this is where crap got bad. as usual, the loading screen loaded...and stayed black even as the alien (who was stuck at the entrance for some reason, bumrushed and killed me. i got one achievement and i am deleting this game. i simply cannot take the buggy mess anymore
  12. managed, finally, to get the Watch your step achievement for the hive. unfortunately, my one shot run is ended, because i died to facehugger. crap. the rest of the game is too long. they should've shortened it. fans will already be decrying me as a loser but this game is already at the end for me. the rest is just padding
  13. so Sony pisses off nostalgia buffs like me by half assing the older models and yet still removes support for the newer models? i have a 320 GB and am outraged
  14. i am using Altirra 2.99 and using the atari 600XL 16 k mode
  15. how was it done? i got as far as line 1000 (without the rem statements) and it refused to go any further Compute magazine #67 page 48
  16. i am to a point. working with static variables (sega genesis) is a nightmare
  17. is ninaterm written in basic or machine code? i could probably repair some of it
  18. so is that what the rem statement is for? to copy machine code?
  19. i never bothered to complete the program anyway, but it's still somewhat perplexing. it went something like this: rom=8155 ram=8255 fori=8122 to 8255 poke ram+i peek(ram+i) or something like that, can't remember.
  20. did the author test 3.00? i can't run anything
  21. code: let a=usr(550) Data 324,400,123 Data 213,123,40 data 123,12,23 end a=usr(550) then a menu popped up and said that the emulator had jammed
  22. (Sorry for the gaps but it's hard playing and updating the blog when you're on a console) feeling anxious I finished Marlowe's walking simulator, managed to get KG348 back to full power, managed to kill the Xeno and after what seemed like a long unneeded shooting gallery (going for Mercy or Prudence so no humans), i am in the Apollo core. Lots of working Joe's (especially the fire resistant and EMP resistant ones) no Pipe-bombs, one Molotov, and my Xbox one controller is nearly dead (currently charging). Not dead yet May or May not die in the hive. wish me luck
