Intellivision Ebay Roundup
BSRSteve replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
The voice work (and following integration) were never down for B-17 Bomber (in any of the foreign languages). I did the integration for Space Spartans and I am pretty sure the Bomb Squad voice was also recorded. -
You really kind of have to, since they change the forms all the time. I am wondering if the listing under the sticker might say 1979....... My old enough box has your second picture, which doesn't even mention Lasser in either of the two financial programs. The box has a sticker saying it includes Baseball (rather than the default football)

Physical copies should also be in the Blue Sky Rangers store on eBay before long (though they haven't shipped yet).

and untested, as well. -
This is what I have. KILL!.txt
-
And I don't doubt that Rolfe called it Killer Bees. I suspect that Minkoff, Daglow, Sohl or someone brought the tutorial game back to Mattel when we started getting our own systems (before my time) and renamed it for whatever reason. Keith started about a month after I did, so would have known it by the same name and used it in his write-ups.
-
We definitely called the tutorial game Killer Tomatoes at Mattel, which is where that name would have been propagated. I don't know who changed the name (and they may have also changed the code).
-
I think they were usually called T-Cards, but if someone said T-Cart instead, we might not have even noticed.
-
What he was saying is that if the original quote of SELLING the rights to Tandy had been correct, then Mattel would not have had the rights to flow to Intellivision Inc/INTV/Intellivision Productions/Intellivision Entertainment.

Intellivision Purchases and Deals

So, you have the white lettering with and without the UPC code? -
T-Cards were used for testing, which is part of development. Yes a developer wouldn't normally put small changes on a T-Card to run, but they were certainly used on in-development games.

Opening a rare 40 year old sealed game

That seems about right for the timeframe when I did it. Could have been 22-23, but no earlier, based on where I remember living at the time. -
Jzintv not working on Mac OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan

not that recent. I guess it is time for me to try to get it running on 13.1, the current OS. (Catalina is over three years old) -
Intellivision console replacement for gold metal inlay?
BSRSteve replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I had some a while back that we sold (new old stock), but mostly we had silver ones. We may still have a few, but they mostly have some scratches and dings. -
I got a batch of manuals and overlays through Facebook Marketplace, and came across some overlay variants that are not on Funhouse, but I believe they really are variants. First, there two Basketball USA overlays, both with the (A) part number. The difference in the coloring of the background and the thickness of the black lines is pretty pronounced. As for the Las Vegas Poker Blackjack, Funhouse lists yellow letters and orange letters, but here I have orange letters and red letters (I also have the yellow letters variant, but not in this batch). Are these true variants as I suspect? and are they already known?

I think I can clarify a couple of things..... Intellivision Productions, Inc, became Blue Sky Rangers, Inc, as part of the sale of the trademark to Intellivision Entertainment. The Delaware corporation was formed because StartEngine required that the company be a C-Corporation rather than an LLC. The choice of Delaware was independent of that, but that is a popular state to incorporate in, for various reasons.

It is technically not a tax. It is commission. -

Worse than that, they are also taking their percentage on the taxes that they collect, whether sales tax domestically or VAT. You can adjust S&H to compensate, but cannot do anything about the taxes. -

I currently have eight unsold copies and am in the process of double-checking with those who had previously reserved one. I will not take any more preorders and will just put the remainder up on eBay along with the Star Mercenaries.
