Intellivision Ebay Roundup
BSRSteve replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Thank you for thinking of me. I do already have the box AND the manual, just not the white-label cartridge, so not sure how much I want to spend on a full box. -

You know, you ARE allowed to place a bid earlier than the very last minute...... -

It appears that Kijiji expects you to make the transaction in person, which I learned only after I had already sent an inquiry, as I am also missing the Mr Basic white label cartridge in addition to Super Series pieces. -

I am a little confused by the two labels on the bottom. The one with the serial number says it is manufactured in the USA, while the other one says Hong Kong. Is that normal for units in that serial number range? -

Yeah, I went to about $130, figuring I could piece out a lot of the other stuff, but when it was sitting at $150 for a couple of days. I decided that was too much. especially when someone else showed up with a BW Blockade Runner manual. -

What am I missing besides the B&W TRON Solar Sailer and Blockade Runner manuals to drive this auction up so high? https://www.ebay.com/itm/275280293052?ntype=bns&mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11002.m43.l2649&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=2d163fda6193489cadb1f0195ae86a23&bu=44675125481&exe=0&ext=0&osub=-1~1&crd=20220428150136&segname=11002&sojTags=ch%3Dch%2Cbu%3Dbu%2Cnqt%3Dnqt%2Cnqc%3Dnqc%2Cmdbreftime%3Dmdbreftime%2Ces%3Des%2Cec%3Dec%2Ceprlogid%3Deprlogid%2Cexe%3Dexe%2Cext%3Dext%2Cexe%3Dexe%2Cext%3Dext%2Cosub%3Dosub%2Ccrd%3Dcrd%2Csegname%3Dsegname%2Cchnl%3Dmkcid -

I see we are out of stock on eBay. I will try to check and see if we have any more (which might be less pristine). -

As posted elsewhere, we found (but destroyed) Night Stalker in a Motocross box and Word Fun in a Thin Ice box in addition to a Slap Shot in a Diner box. I still have just the one Slap Shot in a Diner box. -
Still trying to get him to open them, eh??? We had a bin of Boxing carts and manuals that also had a bunch of overlays in it, so I think Boxing might have come with overlays. The various loose Boxing we are currently selling on eBay are some of those. Some of the cartridges found their way to Rev, since we were not going to be able to sell all of them.

At least non-0410 boxes are probably rare. -
If that is the case (and I don't know if it is true on a work for hire), they either stayed with INTV Corp or with Real Time Associates.
-
I would guess that those rights might have belonged to World Book. They did not transfer to Intellivision Productions.
-
I am quite sure that any K/C titles did not end up at Intellivision Entertainment. I had thought they might not even have left Mattel, but after checking, I see that they are listed in the transfer from INTV Corp which eventually resulted in them getting to Intellivision Productions, Inc (Now Blue Sky Rangers, Inc).

A patent is not REQUIRED to release a product. It mostly protects you from copycats. And that appears to be a "non-final" rejection. Some other comments that I can make about other things in this thread (I am limited in my ability to respond) Using the potential Trademark on the game boxes and on clothing, is sufficient use to register the trademarks in those categories. The T-shirts and hats, etc that they sell can be used to register the trademarks for clothing. I am not sure of the categories the game boxes would cover. The goal of the "karma engine" philosophy is to allow children to compete with teens and adults on more even footing. The original plan was for it to be optional, but also that a login to the controller could allow the game to remember abilities level from previous games. Anyone who thinks Amico could be released with X-Box controllers doesn't understand the goal of the console. X-Box controllers are not intuitive to people who are now grandparents (unless they have kept up with gaming), or to people that don't game regularly.

Yeah, it took probably six months or more for all the price guides to recover from the NIS FCTVVO Poker/Blackjack back in 2018 -

It is listed as an Intellivision Inc game on INTVFunhouse (the Bowling with UPC code in standard II box - reported by me). I have had it for some time, but didn't notice the INTV until today. I checked some of the other Mattel games that had UPC - Motocross is labelled as Intellivision Inc, as was whatever else I checked (might have been Bump N Jump, but I am not sure)
