And Arabic one as a suggested 11th. But Mattel 1 includes 2609 and 2609A, as well as the PAL/SECAM units which I think have a different part model number. The Super Pro and System III both have the same part number, but different labelling. Intellivision 2 (Mattel 2 in this list) comes with and without the red stripe. I have a 2609A made in HK and one made in Taiwan. I have a 2609 made in US and one made in HK and another made in HK with French Canadian stickers on the bottom. I am missing the Digiplay units, but have Sylvania, Tandy, Sears, Bandai, and Arabic in addition to the Mattel and INTV ones. I do not have a European unit (PAL or SECAM), but I do have an Australian one.

The main work was to fix the syntax of the numbers (five and twenty instead of twenty-five, for example). I am sure that I at least considered fixing the bug that allows you to move the alien bases in the final round (off by one bug), and if I fixed anything, that would have been the one. As for the Intellivoice initialization, it certainly is different when you are dealing with an Intellivoice that has three different languages. You have to pick which bay of the unit to use for ResRom. But I don't remember if I even am the one that made those changes. I would think you could see the changes in the code.

I have no way of telling what cartridge (or manual, or overlay) SHOULD go in which box (beyond the HK/US, etc information), so in my spreadsheet, I just track which manual, cartridge and overlay variant is in which box IN MY COLLECTION (or on its own line if it is something I know I need). I have not been diligent about adding every single variant into my spreadsheet if I don't have it, but it does have everything I own. I have 522 boxes from the original 125, some of those include more than one manual and few even have more than one cartridge (to reduce the duplicate boxes). And there is one repro box in the bunch (Spiker).

Well, Emily has the ones for sale on eBay, but here is my copy that the tray fits in: This opening is 71x92mm, and the tray fits inside. As you can see, there is some different cardboard inside the box. My two boxes where the tray doesn't fit, has different cardboard arrangements for the pocket, and the opening is 70x91 mm, making it just too small. Perhaps they were experimenting with ways to make it trayless.

I have gotten lots of games missing a tray that have a space for them. The tray here is a tighter fit than normal, but the space is quite large for just dumping the cartridge in. Morpheus' copy seems like a tighter pocket and I think I have a couple of empty boxes that are like that.

I have never actually used jzintv, but I don't know what would make it not give you normal game audio (though Space Spartans is far from the noisiest game in that department). 56D seems like the likely arrangement for the game.

The international Intellivoice supported all three languages, so there needs to be code at the beginning to set up the Intellivoice to use the proper language. This code should be similar in all three versions, with just the data being sent changed. I am pretty sure all the language data was available at the time I did the conversions (and the cartridge size would support that), though most of what I was doing was changing the way the numbers were spoken, due to the different syntaxes of the various languages. The initialization code difference may be why the phrases on the cartridge misbehave.

What do you even mean by IVOICE.bin data? I don't think I am familiar with that. I have some of the original, unprocessed voice recordings, but no other data or source files.

Additions to this baseball list: 0810 UK copy (need to double check what exactly it says on the bottom) 0910 HK copy with Catalog Sticker on the bottom (indicating that overlays and catalog are printed in US) I would want to see photos of 0910 box without tray and HK 0710 box. In particular, if these boxes have stickers for the text on the bottom, the exact text of the sticker would be helpful.

Are you sure about those? I think the trayless versions of both are 0710-G1

That box picture is not a G1, it is 1113-0810. INTV Funhouse does not list a 1113-0810-G1 USA box

The 1113-0810 HK Sticker is the sticker that I call CatSticker (says the catalog was printed in USA in addition to the overlays). I had not seen that on an Auto Racing The UK Auto Racing I am aware of is 1113-0610 instead of 0810 Does that 1113-0810-G1 USA have a tray? That is another I haven't seen. My trayless (GFUSNT) Auto Racing is 1113-0710-G1.

I was going through a pile of Donkey Kong cartridges I had and noticed that there are three cartridge case variations among what I had in that batch. All of those had the same label. The (assumed) earliest had no markings on the back. Then an "Insert other side up" sticker was attached to the back, and finally "Insert other side up" was put in the plastic. The first of these cartridges had a flat front, while the other two had an indent on the front side at the insert. A cart with a different label had the indent without the sticker. I have one DK tan cart, with the insert text in the plastic. That cart has no label on it at all.
