Airshack - A great man will sadly be leaving us soon.
twoodland replied to RetroTIGuy's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
So sad to learn of this. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. -
Maybe this vinyl wrap would work for that! I have a silver & black TI that I could use to experiment on if someone could volunteer to try creating the logos to put back on it. As Omega said, the hard part will be the grills.

Don't know if this helps but I have a F18 (Newer one built by Hans Huebner), RPi3B+, Speech Synth, SAMS Sidecar, and TIPI Sidecar. This configuration works for me. Have you tested the RAM? I had similar issues which turned out to be defective soldering of the SAMS RAM Chip.

Correct. Page14, post #327. It ran successfully.

FYI - TI-99/4A Beige Console (Not QI), F-18a, TIPI, Sidecar SAMS, FG99 - I had a problem loading using the filenames TESTXB28GEM_G.BIN, TESTXB28GEM_8.BIN (blank cyan screen). I renamed them XB28GEMG.BIN, XB28GEMC.BIN, it loaded and the demo ran successfully.

Success. I logged out and logged back in and it works. Thanks for your help!

Hi Greg, Thanks for your reply. My TIPI sw version is 2.6, DSR = 2018-06-23 I just checked CHATTI and do not see your test message. I still see the screenshot above. I ran CHATTI by running CALL TIPI("PI.HTTP://MYTI99.COM/CHATTI") to bypass any local file version I have. CHATTI reports v.1.412

I have recently had time to go through and consolidate the TI-99/4a Scott Adams Adventures including the Tex Comp, Asgard Miscellaneous and homebrew adventures. I was able to in most cases load them from my cassette copy, make V9T9, FIAD, and WAV cleaned up versions (using TI99Dir and CS1er) and have compiled them into one archive. I am missing some artwork, dates and other info that if provided by others, I will include it in future updates. For those tapeheads (like myself) that like loading from analog audio cassette, I have included an optional archive containing WAV files of compilation cassettes that have voice title prompts (which you can hear through the TI Program Recorder) when loading to assist in locating the correct data file. 2022 TI-99/4A Scott Adams' Adventures Compilation - TWoodland V220202A 2022 TWoodlands Scott Adams Adventures Compilation Cassettes V220202A

Was Scott Adams Adventure QUESTPROBE #3 - Human Torch and The Thing ever released for the TI-99/4A? I have #1 - The Hulk and #2 Spider-Man on 1984 Adventure Series 13+ but have never come across #3 even though I have the comic book for it. If not, has someone ported it to the TI-99/4A?

One other question. I read somewhere that when the TI99 is reading a file from tape, the monitor will produce the sound of the tape, is that correct? Yes, that is correct.

Beery, Unfortunately, I could not make it last night. I am available now if you would like to test it. I am using real iron, with a TIPI, mouse and Stuarts browser version 9.3. I will connect now and post some things to test. -
Do you have any TI-99/4A Themed Ornaments? If so, please post them! I took the 3D printed miniature console that I received from ARCADEShopper, added a screw, some wire nd voila: Happy Holidays!
