  1. I'll add an addendum to the original upload in the future when I have few more, but in the interim here are four additional Intellivision video snaps for anyone who's interested (Super Pro Beauty and the Beast, Chippi+, Lock 'N Chase 2: Revenge of Lupin, and Lode Runner). Intellivision_Video_Snaps_Addendum1.7z
  2. This is incredibly cool @decle and it runs well on a Raspberry Pi 3B via JzIntv on RetroPie. Thanks for making it available!
  3. Awhile back I uploaded a large collection of preconfigured keyboard hack files for an Xbox 360 controller to GitHub. Those settings should work on other similar modern controllers as well, with maybe some slight modifications. The link includes 150+ kbd hack files and launch scripts used for jzIntv on my RetroPie setup. There is a summary spreadsheet in the "kbd" folder that lists the specific controls mapped to each button for each game. That folder also includes an image for the Intellivision "Numpad" invoked by many of the kbd files (usually called by pressing LB). These are just my modern interpretation of the controls, so for anyone who’s interested please feel free to change/revise to your liking. That link also includes some other miscellaneous jzIntv stuff - custom palettes, launch scripts that help resolve joystick drift, cfgs, etc. Enjoy!
  4. Football Toss = 105, Space Gunner = 71, Sub Shoot = 41, Maze Shoot = 37, Total = 254 Grew up with this one and it's still a lot of fun, although you're definitely at the mercy of whatever random patterns get thrown your way by the game. My final football pass was me seeing the clock almost at zero and jamming on the button to get that one last throw off...and then hoping a player would catch it!
  5. Have not yet made it to the heart level but got close in another lower scoring game. 47,240 for me.
  6. This game is fun but also very frustrating at times. Glad I was "forced" to spend some time with it! Game 1 - 56.9, Game 2 - 48.5, Game 3 - 1:14.2 (2:59.6 total), Game 7 - 2,930.
  7. Emulation for me but not sure it really offered any advantages, as the input issues hampered both my Xbox 360 and 8bitdo controllers 🫤. The joysticks were very difficult to use with the Dpads being only slightly better.
  8. I’m sure @IntyFanMatt can offer even more, but here are a few words of advice I can offer based on my play this week… (1) Quick double presses don’t register consistently and usually lead to a terrible end for your frog. I try to avoid them unless the situation is desperate. (2) Don’t be afraid to jump back down a log level, sometimes it’s the best choice. (3) If you see the traffic temporarily slow on the 4th level, don’t wait for a larger opening, just go. (4) If traffic on the 4th level is at normal speed, you really have to think two levels of traffic at a time and go quickly through both without hesitation. Even this approach doesn’t always work. (5) The pink frog is a temptress, as in real life sometimes you gotta do your best to ignore her charms and stay on mission 😁. (6) For emulation, using a Dpad seems to offer much more consistent control.
  9. Excellent score, congratulations! My 9 hour run of glory has ended 😂. Same problem with the controls in emulation. I had the most success using the Dpad on an 8bitdo controller but still lost countless lives to inputs not registering. And the cheap offscreen otter deaths, yep definitely experienced a few of those as well. Very frustrating. Also had a crash midway through a perfect run, not sure I’ve ever seen JzIntv do that.
  10. This was literally the game of my life. Single pixel jumps, check. Making it into the bay with a single bar of time left, check. Playing the second half of the game with 0-1 frogs in reserve, check. And as others have said, the controls in this game are terrible. Now Frog Bog is another story, no high scores here 😂
  11. Have not played this one in awhile, but definitely need to play it more often! It's one of the games I grew up on, lots of fun once you get in the groove. @Rickster8 , that score is really impressive!
  12. Thanks, appreciate the feedback! The recording process is not too bad once you get the software configured (after setting up an “AVI” hotkey in jzIntv), but editing and capturing the appropriate gameplay does take take some time. Let me drop one more thing here for Intellivision players… a little while back I uploaded a large collection of preconfigured keyboard hack files for an Xbox 360 controller to my GitHub page as well. Here’s the link to the RetroPie forum post related to that. That GitHub also includes some other miscellaneous jzIntv stuff - custom palettes, launch scripts that help resolve joystick drift, cfgs, etc.
  13. If anyone uses a RetroPie theme that supports video snaps and has an interest in Intellivision games, please check out this thread over in the RetroPie forums. I just uploaded an archive of 156 high quality game play video snaps (recorded by me in jzIntv 🙂).
  14. Thank you for the kind words. It’s been awhile since I created overlays for Nintellivision but I am considering another batch to add a few recent releases. When I get back to it, I’ll take a look at that title as well. Creating overlays can be a time consuming process, but like anything once you get in a groove it’s a bit easier to crank them out 😁.
