  1. I got to pick a game (yay!) and was surprised the club hadn't done this one yet. I'm making some time this week to get in on this one... Voch
  2. Could that be used for Track and Field? Voch
  3. Atari2600.com has several copies of the cartridge ranging in price from $75 to $110 (based on condition). I was thinking about grabbing the $75 one sometime soon but never got an e-mail question reply about the Xenophobe cart I also wanted to purchase...
  4. So is it worth PayPal-ing you 25 cents (round up to a buck after the cost of mailing it in an oversized envelope, I guess) to get the manual for Video Olympics? That's all I'm missing out of that list but it'd be nice to have...that game has lots 'o variations. Voch
  5. I'm using the same Iris drawers that AtariAge recommends for the 2600 carts. I just stand 'em up on their side: http://users.adelphia.net/~voch/classic/carts6.jpg (an old picture) I've recently been investing in individual plastic bags for all my carts. The 2600 ones fit perfectly in 4x5 bags, so they're all stored as such. My 5200 carts are in too-big Ziplocs until I find the "perfect fit" bag, and the Intellivision and 8-bit carts are too small for just about anything I've found. Voch
  6. Any discounts if we drive up W. 130th street and just pick it up? Voch (fellow Clevelander) (just kidding...I'm saving up to splurge on some Atari 2600 rares...)
  7. You may want to hold on to your 2600 for some games, depending on your Atari 7800 model. Atari 7800 FAQ link. AtariAge 7800 forum discussion link. Voch
  8. Barrister shelves. Keeps the dust out while the systems are still visible.
  9. I like both versions of Mario Bros., but then I'm a Mario Bros. addict (I *love* the arcade version...the home versions are good too). Voch
  10. Well...here's my game room. Admittedly, it's geared for the solo player. I have a few posters (two Atari 2600 catalogs), my PC (for my SIO2PC cable for the Atari 8-bit), barrister shelves (great for keeping away dust), and catridge drawers. I haven't updated my page's information in a while, though. The room is now reversed (the TV is now on the right side of the picture), I've narrowed down my classic collection to 2600/5200/7800/8-bit, Intellivision, and ColecoVision (the O2 and Commodore hardware is gone, but I still have a PlayStation and my beloved Dreamcast), I have multiple classic systems as backups, and I have quite a few more cartridges that are now all individually bagged. I did block the lower half of my windows with black construction paper to cut down on the sunlight in the room. It's still "light enough" to play games in. I may do some strategic rearrangement of my house this winter. Because of poor insulation I may move my bedroom into this game room (it's in the middle of the house, so its warmer), move the game stuff to the dining room/living room area, and close off my back room (currently my bedroom). 11. Great seller! Thanks for my cart. (You're welcome for the free bump, too...) Voch
  12. If you knew it was the power supply at fault I'd make a deal for just the console for $20. I have an extra power supply. EDIT: I meant $20 *shipped*... Voch
  13. Try what fixed my ColecoVision: cleaning the on/off switch. Voch
  14. Is that why they're fairly scarce? I'm still trying to hunt down several Atari picture labels... Voch
  15. http://www.collectorscardsandgames.com/ Lots of my early collecting was done through them before I had trade bait. Voch
  16. I made a few bucks whittling down my stuff (it was nowhere near as extensive as your collection, though ). I'm just collecting Atari 2600/5200/7800/8-bit, Intellivision, and ColecoVision items...
  17. You can also search for the game by the Atari title using the handy-dandy Title Search on the left side of the AtariAge main page, bring up the Street Racer page and scroll down to the "Related Titles" section. I always get the Sears titles mixed up myself... Voch
  18. The cart is spoken for. Please lock away... Voch
  19. Bump. I'll take a few bucks for it too if anyone wants it. Voch
  20. It's not the best label in the world but it works great. Just looking to even-trade for at least one of Atari picture label carts I don't already have. Brain Games (Atari, picture label) Canyon Bomber (Atari, picture label) Codebreaker (Atari, picture label) (a big priority for me) Flag Capture (Atari, picture label) Game of Concentration (Atari, picture label) Fun With Numbers (Atari, picture label) I'm also open to other offers since this is likely too specific of a want-list. (EDIT: changed to "at least one"...I don't want to be greedy...) (EDIT 2: removed Backgammon...I found one)
  21. I do believe a PM has been sent your way... Voch
  22. Game 18. Fast asteroids, extra life every 5000 (because of the before-mentioned fast asteroids...yeah, I'm a wimp ), and flip. Oh...and Difficulty A to get the satellites/UFOs (they're a must). Voch
