  1. Final bump with a cutoff time for final sales. The post office is getting sick of me... Voch
  2. Update. Removed some sold stuff. Off to bed for the night (gotta work). PMs will be looked at in the morning.
  3. Bump for addition of Commodore VIC-20 and Commodore 64 carts.
  4. Bump. Looks like this stuff is goin' to my local video game reseller...
  5. Looking to sell/trade off some stuff. Drop me a PM if you're interested in anything. PayPal is the preferred payment method. Sale ends at 5pm Eastern U.S. time Wednesday June 22nd. (All the goodies are sold or traded in.)
  6. NERDS cereal sounds truly awful. I must be getting old...I like Rice Chex now and save Cinnamon Toast Crunch for the occasional dessert... Voch
  7. The Magnavox Odyssey was introduced in 1972. It was a fairly primative video game system that used card-like cartridges and screen overlays. The controllers were boxes with knobs on the sides and a "Reset" button on the top. A complete Odyssey set includes stuff like poker chips, game playing cards, and other accessories. I had one of these back in the late 70's and it was pretty nifty. The Magnavox Odyssey2 was introduced in 1978 and is comparable to an Atari 2600 technology-wise. It has a membrane keyboard and hard-wired joysticks (I'm not sure of all O2's had the sticks hard-wired, though...mine does) and used cartridges for games (the Magnavox carts have loop handles). Games for the console include K.C. Munchkin! (a good Pac-Man clone), Pachinko! (Magnavox put exclamation points in quite a few of the game titles for some reason), and Turtles. There are a few (fairly rare) third-party titles for the console (like Parker Bros. Popeye and Imagic's Demon Attack and Atlantis). The two consoles have absolutely nothing to do with other besides the "Odyssey" name. The "2" on the name Odyssey2 is usually printed as a superscript (like Odyssey-to-the-second-power).
  8. PM Sent. I could always use a few overlay fills... Voch
  9. @ATARIeric: That's the stuff! Yuuuuuummmmyyy! Voch
  10. I was going to write General Foods and ask for any packets they had left of Mountain Berry Punch Kool-Aid...the best flavor ever made. I never got around to it. The next time I'm at a local Marc's store I'll check for a box or two for you, but don't get your hopes up...
  11. The originals were made by Coleco, I think. My family had a Quiz Wiz Challenger that would allow 1-4 players (the picture is missing the little hoods that went over the keys so other players couldn't see what you answered). Sorry though, fjsoccer84. It's long gone from my posession, and I'm not sure it's the same one you're looking for anyway... Voch
  12. I'd take it if I had a way to build a cable to play games off of my PC like I do with my Atari 65XE/SIO2PC cable (wouldn't need the floppy drive then). Is there an equivalent? Voch
  13. "Demon Attack! Tough!" The rapping commercial was truly evil. Voch
  14. Agreed. I think my eBay days are over since I'm mostly just missing the rarer games. It was handy for picking up some common fills but now that what I need is in the commodity range I keep losing at the last second to resellers (in fact, a few months ago I lost the same game three times to the same person at the last minute within a week span). It was fun while it lasted. Voch
  15. Maybe you're Jeff Bezos and you're trying to sell some extra stuff here on AA? If so, welcome! Voch
  16. Very lazy. You know...I was about to make fun of Harry's little green booties until I saw them on the original box scan (it's a box I actually own, too...never noticed). Also...look at the other box they had to work with. Yuck. Voch
  17. My boxes are in my game room closet not to keep 'em out of sunlight but to keep 'em out of the way (I don't really "use" them for game play). I guess it's cool that they're also protected. My consoles and computers are protected from dust on their barrister shelves but not from sunlight. That worries me a bit...my 65XE is already fairly yellowed Voch
  18. How's about Virtual PC for Windows? I have it for Mac and have used it in the past for older games (Commander Keen comes to mind). Voch
  19. Yep. That someone is me, but I was undecided on actually paying that kinda dough for a cartridge anyway so it's cool. Actually, I'm having more fun finding games locally now, but eBay is still fairly worthwhile... Voch
  20. I noticed that your cart and an identical one sold three hours later were bought by the same individual. I'm sure the buyer will play them both for years to come. Voch
  21. Sorry...no Atari pics in the pictures we dug up. I did find my uncle Ted's high school graduation picture, but he's not playing Atari in it. Voch
