[WTB: Vectrex wrap - YASI or other design]

Haven't been able to reach vectrexwraps.com over the past month or two, was hoping someone might have an extra wrap they'd be willing to sell. TIA.

FYI with Caig's De-oxit: I used to use it on av connectors and vacuum tube pins and never felt that it did much. Switching to a lead-remover cloth from Walmart (I think it's Remington brand) removed the oxidation almost instantly from my old connectors, and it was only $3. A no-brainer compared to the $50 vacuum tube "survival kit" I mistakenly purchased.

I recently acquired a Vectrex unit that appears to be in good shape, however when firing it up with a cartridge in the side, it goes directly to Mine Storm. I tried several cartridges and this continues to happen. Any ideas? Can something like this be fixed with new caps, or is it more likely a bum unit?

[Trying to ascertain - Raiden Cart Legit or Not]

Thanks for confirming. There are bootleg Raiden carts floating around out there for some reason. One on Ebay - although that one is pretty obvious.

I just picked up a copy of Raiden however the cartridge is a little darker and more textured than the others in my collection. I thought it might be a high quality repro. I did some searching here on how to spot a difference, but it's not easy like it is with most other systems where you just pop the cart open. 

 

I put it next to another game to illustrate the different shade.

 

Any ideas? Is this most likely a repro? Thanks for any info!
