  1. ..and the Lord has spoketh' :D

Yeah, the limitations are there, but it would be great addition to a slower paced games for example a moving colorful background or static background. There are a lot of static games like chess, which could use backgrounds, maybe even changeable one's by the press of an option button. Some cool photos of girls and stuff in background should liven up the game play and make the game more interesting and popular. For example, some QIX clone like game could sure use some "more interesting" pictures for people to uncover during the game :) If you know what I mean.. :D

Sometimes it takes something subtle to make all the difference in a game..

Just a thought for homebrew developers/artists

Time to Install Windows 1.0 onto the Lynx so I can have an excuse to have a portable desktop background.

Actually now that I think about it Windows 1.0 is pretty old maybe you could get the Lynx to run it?

Man, you're a genius! That would be groundbreaking! :D and I bet Lynx would run it like a piece of cake :D

Now we got to find someone who's up for realizing this idea :D

Here are some more, for anybody curious.  There is a fifth one, but the screen scrolls up and down to display the full image, so I can't show the whole thing in a still photo.

MTR, can you say where you found the Megan Fox file?  I really hate to not have the creator of these acknowledged, but I can't seem to find anything here.

PFG 9000,  I found it here, on AA. Legendary member/programmer "enthusi" made this stuff.   :)

    Hey all,

I just got my Gamedrive and I'm both thankful to Albert, AA, and RetroHQ for developing it.  I had some hiccups in the delivery process and they handled it professionally and speedily.  KUDOS!!

I mainly wanted the drive in order to experience the homebrew scene.  I'm aware of the list of homebrews at AtariGamer, and that I can download them 1 by 1 from the ROM-Only page.

But, i have some physical disabilities (hand pain problems and physical issues) that mean clicking on almost 100 games to download them will = hurting hands.  (It's about 6 clicks to get a download and back to the menu....multiplied by 100..ouch...i will be in pain).

Wondered if anyone knows of a quick way to download all of the free homebrews at once, or would send them to me, or know of a torrent etc that i could use?

Again, just asking about the free, available ROMs, not anything illegal or copyright or proprietary (such as ROMs that are sold by devs).

    Thanks in advance!

Hey man, check your PM's :)
