  1. I have also encountered one occassion where the skull was not completely deleted when it touched you and a few pixels stayed on the screen. I did not take a screenshot though.
  2. I also contacted him regarding overseas shipping, but the minimum order is way too much for the labels I need and he only has NTSC labels.
  3. It might be the case of different GTIA variants, also perhaps PAL systems are more prone to the issue. I've actually encountered it when I was drawing a picture for a graphics compo a few years back. Because of the bug I had to redo part of the image because the dark artifacts looked very ugly. The issue was with the chessboard pattern I used. I had to change it to just horizontal lines where it was much less disturbing. capitol.xex capitol-fixed.xex
  4. I'm referring to this GTIA9-related issue, with dark lines in between certain luminances. Left one is stock 130XE, right one is my UAV-modified 800XE. Both connected using S-Video.
  5. I think there's a wrong note table for one of the instruments (the sharp-sounding one).
  6. Nice and plays well. Great graphics, music player still needs a fix.
  7. There is a modern remake of Karateka on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/217270/Karateka/
  8. Yeah, in some cases I was just lucky with the purchases, in others I was looking for specific games. Also, I need some fresh stickers for the damaged ones. But I have yet to find someone who sells them in the EU. 😞
  9. My humble collection of 2600 and 7800 titles, half of which are recent purchases from the last couple of months. Most are PAL releases.
  10. Can the UGV be used in conjunction with UAV? While I'd like to have V-Gate, I also like UAV's fix to the GTIA timing.
  11. The secret rooms are in the Atari 8-bit version as well.
  12. £19.99 for Ballblazer woulb be a great deal even for the bare cartridge. Just the POKEY chip inside is worth more. Also the reason why prices of BallBlazer and Commando 7800 are so high since POKEYs are hard to find.
  13. The driver only has to be installed the first time you update. It does not prevent you from updating the dumper.
  14. I have also noticed sound stuttering on the title screen on my copy of California Games (NTSC) that arrived just today. Also the text scroller is not very smooth. Tested with dumper 1.1.0.9 and update-012324.
  15. Could you please show us a bit of gameplay video?
  16. Will the PAL versions of the games have the "P" stickers on the cartridges as the originals do? 🙂
  17. The only homebrew for the 2600 I have is Slicks Racing and it works fine.
  18. Bumping the thread to check if there's been any progress with the project.
  19. SUBAVGCart provides most upgrades you might ever need for your Atari, including fast loading of binaries and carts, RAM expansion, OS switching, stereo upgrade, COVOX and battery-backed RTC. The only things you might be missing are better video output, networking and CPU/video accelleration. Also separate ANTIC access is not supported, but that is very rarely used in software.
  20. Oh, I thought you were addressing me as you replied to my comment.
  21. As far as I know, the project is still pretty much alive. Not sure how they'll handle the external design though to avoid IP issues.
  22. My PAL copy of Dig Dug works fine. Dumping used to be quirky at first but after cleaning the contacts it boots reliably so I think it wasn't a dumper issue. Also no audio clicking of any sort. The disappearing sprites in the video are an issue of my HDMI grabber (which grabs at 50Hz but for some reason the flickering sprite multiplexing does not quite work. It works fine when connected directly to a TV.). 2024-01-22 18-38-00.mkv
