  1. One little bugreport: there shouldn't be a period after an ordinal numeral in English (like "3rd.tank").
  2. Not sure if it has been mentioned, but what is the actual visible screen area (in hires pixels) with the UGV?
  3. Btw. one thing to consider regarding keyboard is the length of the space bar. While standard Atari space bar is 9U (1U being width of a standard letter key), modern keyboards mostly use 6.25U length and it's pretty much impossible to get the long space bar anywhere. For the sake of customizability (e.g. getting a keycap set from WASDkeyboards.com), it would be advisable to consider the standard modern space bar for the RM800 keyboard.
  4. Why don't you just get an AVGCart? It's better in pretty much every aspect and quite affordable.
  5. Nicely done conversions! Also replacing the sampled FX is a pity a but certainly better than the distorted sound resulting from use of RastaConverter.
  6. Isn't 8302 actually production date? Week 2 of 1983.
  7. Can you please link the interview where he mentions this?
  8. AFAIK, Sirius is not a homebrew, it should have been released commercially back in the day but was never finished.
  9. No worries, as far as I know, there are still enough copies of both versions.
  10. Some more product photos with complete content of the box, showing both sides of the poster.
  11. My entry in the Forever 2023 Atari Graphics Compo. It got 3rd place (as captured from my Atari). Synthia.xex
  12. Forever party has begun and we have the first batch ready!
  13. In former Czechoslovakia, there was a tape recorder "KZD-1" that could be interfaced with various computers including Atari, which could do exactly that. Here's a quick translation from this site: https://pmd85.borik.net/wiki/KZD-1&setlang=en
  14. It's in the original game announcement thread (linked in the first post of this thread), but here you are, as captured from my Atari 800XE:
  15. As has already been revealed in a post in the original game announcement thread, onEscape is going physical! For the past two months I've been working on graphical layouts for the box, cartridge, manual and various goodies included with the game and the production is just about to start. We have chosen Mq Workshop (FloB, Tensor Trzaskowskiego) as our publisher and Mariusz is already working on the cartridges. Bocianu is in charge of communication with the print shop and he also did some updates to the game itself (namely the publisher's title screen and some more). The game itself is no different from the free digital release and was designed to work on any Atari 8-bit system with at least 48KB of RAM, PAL or NTSC. The images below are of the final product. More pictures can be found down in the thread. Feel free to ask any questions regarding the boxed version of onEscape in this thread.
  16. Cool, but everyone and their grandma want the classic Atari logo, not this modern-ish iteration.
  17. It seems that the emulator still does not remember disabling the stereo-as-mono setting. I am using the portable mode.
  18. That's a great news, fingers crossed! P.S.: Just one little thing, though it's not a big deal: I've noticed you use the wrong Atari-like font for the labels (I guess it's SF Atari Sylfaen). That one has many characters wrong. I suggest using "Harry Fatt".
  19. Hi OP, any progress regarding the new revision of the PCB with multi-switch support?
  20. The physical release should work on NTSC systems. Regarding colors, adjusting all of the graphics for NTSC palette would be quite a challenge, with nearly 60 images while most contain dozens of colors and are hard-coded in the game code. If possible, I will try to do some tuning at least to some of the colors where it matters (for example to not have green-ish underground tunnels).
