  1. For a good HDMI output, you need to: 1) Add UAV to your 800XL to get cleaner video and S-Video output. 2) Get a good quality HDMI upscaler such as RetroTink 2x Mini. Those are just my suggestions but they work very well in my case (though I have an XE machine).
  2. Just switch Altirra to Portable mode and you can copy your settings file over to your new system.
  3. Poison already told me he's not coming, which is actually the reason why I won't probably come, too. I'd have to cover all driving expenses by myself. 😞
  4. I have registered at Mirko's page yesterday but just a couple of hours later I found out I will probably not make it 😞 So please take my registration as very uncertain.
  5. Let me introduce our contribution to this year's ABBUC Software contest. Bunny Hop is a single-player puzzle game coded by @Fandal, with graphics and music by me. The LZSS/RMT audio driver was provided by @VinsCool. Additional concepts and ideas by Leopold, @twh/f2's son. The game is based on a board game "JumpIN'". The objective of the game is to get the rabbits into their holes. I won't go into detail regarding game rules, you may get a better idea by watching the video below. Due to the amount of graphics and animations, the minimum hardware configuration is an Atari 130 XE with a storage device that can load XEX files. There are separate binaries for PAL and NTSC systems, with adjusted music speed and palette. The game will be released for free after the contest results have been announced. All screenshots and video footage in this post have been captured from real hardware (PAL Atari 800XE).
  6. I am not in charge of the svn repository, nowadays I am just a contributor, and very scarce at that.
  7. Hey everyone, I have ceased to update the site long time ago, now that the latest version of the archive is available at SVN, version numbering makes no sense and so do (ir)regular releases. Everyone can grab he most up-to-date archive there. The downside is that ASMAdb is now also outdated, since there is no connection between it and the SVN system.
  8. Robix, one of the last productions that our late friend Raster released.
  9. Did you miss the command that was executed before the screenshot was taken? 🙂
  10. One month later, here's another winning compo entry of mine, from Silly Venture 2022 SE. Hope you'll like it. AtariAdv.xex
  11. There's also the Dual Joystick USB Adapter: https://joy.sophics.cz/dual-joystick-usb-adapter/
  12. Hey, I can recognize some of the sound effects!
  13. I guess the game cannot be downloaded anywhere? There's a mention at the authors' website that it will be "COMING SOON as free download," but I did not find it anywhere.
  14. Richard is part of our Atari heritage and we did not have too many composers back in the day that anyone would know by name, especially those that would mainly/solely focus on POKEY. If only he would check out RMT and started composing again. ?
  15. I have just submitted our entry "Bunny Hop" to the contest. Good luck to all participants!
  16. Isn't Crownland kind of a SMB clone?
  17. Could this be controllable from the U1MB UI (if @flashjazzcat could add support for it)?
  18. Thanks, but that's not quite what I wanted. The output resolution of the 7800 is 320x293. I needed the emulator to resize the emulation window to integer multiples of this value. Just like Altirra does when the option "Square Pixels (fixed multiples only)" under View > Stretch Mode menu is enabled. Anyway, the problem is now kinda sorted as I found out that screenshots are saved in the appropriate resolution.
  19. Is there a way to set the output so that pixels are mapped 1:1 to the output resolution (or integer multiples of)?
