  1. You're welcome! 😄 Lol very true, someday ill have that dodge charger! Then I might be able to finish a level... 😂
  2. That would be super rad, i hope it does!
  3. Just started watching the series, loving it so far! Always fun listening to fellow game developers discuss their journeys, especially for some of my favorite new indie games. Maybe if we ever try to get our game Circus Interstellar on the vcs someday you'll have us in your show? 😉 A man can dream... Keep it up guys! Cant wait to hear about my favorite atari game Berzerk with its new recharged version coming soon! 😍
  4. Oh wow thank you! 🥰 Im super stoked to work on a VCS port eventually, hopefully sooner than later. Will definitely post here if we do!
  5. Totally agree with you. Honestly, I feel they should keep the classic controls in so i can just adjust to them and enjoy the game on the OG joystick. If we can manage to get our game Circus Interstellar on the VCS down the road we are definitely going to make the classic joystick work with it. Our game is a Berzerk spiritual successor so it would definitely scratch that itch if everything works out! 🙂
  6. So that was one of the first things i tried, and it was kinda... rough. They did what they could with their limitations, but twisting the joystick to aim while moving it to move is a nightmare. If aiming still worked like classic berzerk it would work, but there is 360 aiming now so its the best they could do.
  7. I cant wait to play Murtop on the VCS, that game looks awesome. Gives me dig-dug meets bomberman vibes and i love that.
  8. Oh man, i got to play a bit of this at the Portland convention and it was so awesome! I absolutely loved the new enemies and controls, and evil otto is way cooler this time around. Definitely the first game im gonna buy when i get a vcs. 🤖
  9. Doodle taxi is pretty dang fun. I really enjoyed the soundtrack, very relaxing. A bit harsh sometimes with its fail states, but overall i really dig this game. Had a really good time porting this to the iiRcade, cant wait to give it a go on the VCS. Great job guys ✌️
  10. Oh no way evercade will be there? Nice! That should be a fun panel 🙂
  11. Can't wait, we'll have a booth at the PRGE as well, where we'll be sharing our game Circus Interstellar! My brother and I will try to stop by and say hello between the chaos! 🙂
  12. Thank you! 😄 It is infact an old street fighter 2 champion edition 2 player cab that we modified with a lot of help from my friend Kit. Its got a mini pc in it running BigBox, first time ever doing this thing so im grateful for Kits help. Here's to hoping it turns a few heads at the Portland retro gaming Expo this year!
  13. Hey all! So for the past month now we've been working on putting together a custom cab for our game Circus Interstellar for people to play at our booth for this year's Portland Retro Gaming Expo and we've finally finished it! Here it is in all of it's glory For those who have no clue what Circus Interstellar is, here's the trailer! What do you guys think? We are so stoked to plug countless hours into this baby! xD Totally excited to watch people play on it!
  14. Loved me some Centipede, especially the OG one with the spinner. Just got a MAME cab with a spinner on it and Centipede was the first game I went to lol
  15. The bowling alley in my neighborhood had a pretty awesome arcade in the back, they had games ranging from Tekken to Dance Dance Revolution. Unfortunately it was owned by an older couple who didn't see the value in it and so they finally gutted it out. It was sad to see it go. Luckily nowadays Im finally able to purchase my own arcade cabs and have a pretty decent setup in my house, but it cant really replace the feeling of playing arcade with random strangers and bonding over awesome games.
  16. Over at our local Pizzaria they finally got a Jurassic park cab, its the first good one they've had in a long time, too bad someone broke it only a few days in... They used to have Metal Slug 3, but once they got rid of it all they had left for years was hunting games. 😕
  17. Loved me some Rastan! Tooks me awhile to get the hang of it when I bought it on my iiRcade, but now I can totally rock that game! That wizard boss is an ass though.
  18. Just figured out how to actually link videos in this forum lol Here's the trailer
  19. Checked out Rampart like games, but in my short google search all I found were games that didn't look that inspired. 😕 Might not have looked hard enough though..
  20. Technically we did that with Circus Interstellar, we loved playing Berzerk and were like "why the hell has no one remade this game?" lol Here's a trailer of Circus Interstellar to give an idea about what it looks like: Your profile pic makes me wonder, is there any Rampart remakes? That'd be badass, love the timed base building and such, really put the pressure on. Totally gonna google that now lol I've got Rampart on my MAME cab, but with only 1 trackball I cant do multiplayer... Cosmotrons looks sweet, always loved Gravitar.
  21. Thank you GraffitiTavern! Lol maybe someday when we have money to fly it down we will! 😂 In the meantime it's available on PC via steam and itch.io if you wanna give it a try! 🙂
