  1. Apologies if this has come up, but I haven't seen it: can the CCII still see the files it needs to access if they are not in the root folder? ie, I'm thinking of buying a 256MB card and using the extra space for day-to-day transfers, but if CCII software doesn't know (or can't be directed) to look in a folder within the card this would be moot. Basically, I'm just fidgeting until the cart arrives thanks in adv,
  2. me too, woo hoo! now to buy a TV, system, etc...anyone have a spare 7800?
  3. OK, thanks. Dropped his bids. Auction is down below $100 with 2 hours to go...
  4. *BUMP* Also, the high bidder is a guy with 0 feedback (I am not shilling this auction ). I have emailed him a few days back asking for a guarantee that he will pay, or at the least just try to establish a dialogue to feel him out. So far nothing I have never pulled a bid before, but what would / have you done in cases like this? Thanks in advance,
  5. Ebay: I just realized how little I play these, so up they go. A collection of IMO many of the most enjoyable 2600 classics, and a lot of scarce Jaguar games (D2K, Atari Karts). I'm sure someone will enjoy them like I used to Thanks for looking http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...5&since=-1&rd=1.
  6. Never thought I'd see the day Awesome controller, Godzilla.

  9. Please explain, via PM if you like, why admin edited my post above. thank you.
  10. Just posted a fair amount of uncommon/super-rare VG systems and stuffs, most sans reserve. Thanks for looking (note: links to all 36 items I have up). http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...owpics=1&stab=0
  11. Sweet! Worth a look to all, I'm sayin'.
  12. LOL I have a makeshift one made from elec wire, aligator clips and a screwdriver. What is the potential to zap myself if I just bump it and am not adjusting anything but RGB knobs, etc and the connection to the comp? Thanks in advance
  13. @Tempest - I've just gotten into converting a 19" vertical cab into a MAME machine. This is my first project, but I'd be willing to give (and take) any advice. For starters, here is a great site: http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm with over 600 examples, how-to and a friendly message board. Here is what I'm working with so far: - 1.1 GHz PC, 500 Meg RAM, 4 Gig HD (www.pricewatch.com) ~$175 - KeyWiz advanced encoder ~$40 - Happ buttons, 2x J-Sticks (www.happcontrols.com) ~$50 - Andy's VGA card -- PC->VGA (www.ultimarc.com) ~100 - Trackball hack - MAME 32 This and a fair amount of time and luck should give me a working box I've been told. @Cassidy - It looks like you have some experience with monitors (SpaceWar didn't rebuild itself, I'm guessing ). If I've left mine unplugged for 2-plus weeks, should I try to get under the suction cup and discharge it, or is it fairly safe to tool around back there? How about immediately after testing it?
  14. Any idea how large the first run of carts will be? This looks awesome, for what that's worth.
  15. Well this all makes sense now. From my privileged position I have forgotten how hard it is to get internet access in some parts of the world, like, say, North Korea, Rwanda and, apparently, Berlin. Sincere apologies for jumping to conclusions. I'm sure these copies of Thrust+, pictured below in a photo taken during the very recent and elaborate event in November, will be in the hands of their purchasers soon:
  16. Ah yes, that's the stuff That textured sound is frigging on the $. Thanks! And more, please.
  17. So those crunchy undertones aren't possible? Dang. Thanks for the clips, and please keep 'em coming
  18. Oh man is that sweet Full tone, good stuff. To what extent is something like this possible with the Synthcart? I haven't picked one up, yet...
  19. I've got my INTV, CV and 2600 adaptor all in a CV case. With an Intellicart and CCart and hopefully a CV multi soon, there's no need to go inside. It's pretty sweet
  20. Yes This sounds like a great opportunity. Count me and my CCart in (V0.04 and earlier versions won't run on a CC, btw).
  21. Just tried it: fookin awesome! It really is amazing to see that many sprites on a line, and with a Track and Field controller I'm set for a while. Good stuff.
  22. Thank you! I'll give this a shot over the weekend.
  23. Thomas: that is correct, however please note that I requested a refund before recieving it. As continues to be the case, taking cash upfront as a homebrewer makes all that work look even less appealing, and I was tired of the mismanagement of an old issue. Thrust + Special Edition #18 is a wonderful package. The first $75 can buy it from me at cost, because, unfortunately, it is not what I ordered half a year ago.
