  1. Correct, there is also a sticker on one side of the box (not pictured and I've already stored this crate away) that is also in French. Worth noting that the French manual is larger than the standard English one because it originally came on the FRONT of the box (I assume under shrink wrap) so it had a fully bilingual cover. This is why the French manual basically looks identical to the front of the box (other than the added French text). Slapping a second manual on the front was actually a pretty common practice in Canada in the PS2 era where I'd often see the French manual on top of the sealed game, but under a second layer of shrink wrap. Haha, I always threw those French manuals out. Glad I'm not a PS2 variant collector.
  2. Finally landed the French Canadian Sewer Sam! Got it for $38 US, including shipping to Canada which is pretty good. This gives me 61 of 62 French Canadian variants (for those counting the Activision and Interphase sticker/manual variants) leaving only...French Canadian Super Cobra.
  3. So, the latest (current owners, as far as I know, in bold). Please let me know if you want your AA name removed from this list. 1. BigDumer bought in a lot in Vancouver. Traded to Cmart604. 2. BigDumer spotted it on an old Facebook auction. Kamikazi26 tracked it down and bought from a pawn shop in Saskatchewan. Was then sold on IntellivisionCollector to Cellblock1138. 3. Kamikazi26 saw one on a maxsold auction in Toronto. In 2023, Cellblock1138 saw it on a FB Marketplace post from Ontario where BigDumer bought it. 4. Kamikazi26 got it in a lot. Presumably he still owns it because...look at it...it's sexy! 5. BBWW bought on an etsy auction. 6. Cmart604 found in the Vancouver region. 7. Cmart604 found it in the Intellivision section at a Vancouver-area video game store. 8. Cellblock1138 saw it on a maxsold auction from Victoria, BC, buyer is unknown. 9. Ebay seller hewheezey posted a sealed copy for sale in December 2022 that was sold to someone who already has one.... 10. Cellblock1138 bought it from Facebook Marketplace in Ontario. 11. Morpheus got the deal of the month, buying this on ebay.
  4. I picked up number 3 at the Post Office this afternoon: It is missing the top of the box and the manual could be better but mostly I'm happy to have one, three years after trading #1.
  5. Yeah, I'd have a heart attack if I saw that! Like when I was looking for an Intellivision FC Popeye and kept finding the Atari 2600 version before noticing the differences. Is the Atari DK one similarly hard to find? Are there others besides DK for Atari 2600?
  6. Just transferred the $ for this so hopefully it will make its way safely to me.
  7. Haha, I saw that post with the BC Quest for Tires and didn't bother to look at the other items. Caught me slippin'! Congrats on this, it's a beauty! This is #11 on my official tracker. Interestingly, @Cellblock1138 recently discovered #3 for sale and pointed me to the posting. I think I have a deal with the seller to have it shipped to me but no money has transferred hands just yet. If I get this, I think that will mean that all 11 are in the hands of known Intellivision Collectors (though I don't officially know who has #9). CORRECTION: We don't know who has #8 either.
  8. I think it's high time that a certain couple of people who have seven (!) FC Super Cobras between them each auction one off. 😁
  9. My take is that you have a unique item (as far as we know). Don't take off the sticker so you end up with a regular Astrosmash painted-label cart with some minor damage where the sticker took off some paint. When I found the first white box FC Carnival, this is like someone saying, "If you grab some markers and paint it blue, you can make it look like a regular Coleco Carnival box!" I think you should keep it and brag about your unique item or, if you don't want it, see who will pay/trade you the most for it.
  10. I have an idea to collect the M Network games as well...but this Lock'n'Chase is my first. It's not a high priority for me at this point. In Intellivision-adjacent games at the show, I did see a loose Normy's Beach Babe-o-Rama for Genesis (based on a Keith Robinson character) but I passed on it because that's one I might buck-up for a CIB copy. Maybe. As for the MK, no it is the non-shiny cover. I might upgrade this if the opportunity comes up at some point, but this was just to add this game to my collection.
  11. I had a fun time at VRGE! Got to hang out with @Lathe26 for most of the day, which was great. We managed to have our annual Intellivision chat with The Immortal @swlovinist early in the show. Glad to hear that John is looking to add the Intellivision to his list of complete game sets! If I recall, he's down to 5 for his 125. Ran in to @Black_Tiger in the afternoon for a chat as well. I even got to catch up with @OEB_Pete! Had a nice little chat with Johnny Millennium (topic: representing the old guys in retro gaming) and got to say hello to Radical Reggie as well. Ran into 3 other people that I used to work with (the fun of working in the video game industry) which was nice. Happy with my haul...though this was the first time that I didn't spend all the money that I had set aside to blow on games at this show. I'll save the leftover for Portland. As expected, there was very little Intellivision at the show, but Lathe26 and I walked up the street to Game Deals, which is owned by Brian, who organizes VRGE. Even though the store was packed, we went through their Intellivision stuff and, amazingly, I found something! I've needed the USA non-plastic tray version of B-17 Bomber for ages and this one is in great shape. It's the version I want for my 125, which is even better. My favourite deal was the M-Network Lock'n'Chase. I'm not much of an Atari 2600 collector, but I have a connection with Intellivision Lock'n'Chase so I've wanted this for a few years. Fortunately, it didn't have a price on it and the guy didn't know what to do, so he just charged me the price on the original sticker, $3.99 CDN. It's in great shape; opened but still in original plastic.
  12. John, I look forward to our now annual VRGE Intellivision chat with you!
  13. There are more CIRO Investment games out there, I believe it!
  14. As usual, I will try to get there about an hour early to line up. Maybe we can get together for lunch. I don't plan to attend any of the talks that are scheduled so my schedule is totally open after the first couple hours of spending.
  15. I've seen three for sale in the Seattle Craigslist for a little while, though I see they are now down to two: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/vgm/d/seattle-intellivision-lto-flash/7613590796.html
  16. I made a joke recently about doing something dangerous and my wife said, "Can you leave a phone number for these Luc or Cmart guys so I know what to do with all these old games if you die."
  17. Bought my ticket and booked the hotel, so I'm in. @Black_Tiger - We should have carpooled last year since we had the same schedule. I'm planning to do that again this year: Drive down on Friday, drive home on Sunday. I have lots of room in the minivan. @Cellblock1138 - I think you need to go this year so I don't need to get creative with the Canada border services agent explaining how much I am bringing back into the country. 😁
  18. I'll be there for sure. Maybe a few more locals will be able to make it this year. Maybe even get together Friday night or Saturday after the show.
  19. Wow! Congrats on that find! I like to say that collecting Intellivision teaches patience...but I can't say I live by that when I paid $1k for Super Series!
  20. Here is my list of Intellivision Inc. Double Label carts. Bold = I have one (loose or boxed). Armor Battle Basketball Bowling BurgerTime Football Golf Hockey Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack Las Vegas Roulette Royal Dealer (Purple Mattel sticker) Royal Dealer (Green Mattel sticker) Math Fun Mission X Sea Battle Sharp Shot Skiing Soccer Triple Action Utopia Vectron I have seen a picture of all of these, though I admit that I'm not 100% sure that the BurgerTime is authentic. Maybe someone who owns one can confirm.
  21. Well, I admit, I wondered but assumed that my list was just missing a known version. So cool that we continue to find new Intellivision things!
  22. Not a major score, but I picked up another Intellivision Inc. double label: On my personal tracker of double label variants, I didn't even have Bowling listed until I found this one. Picked it out of this lot that is for sale on Kijiji:
  23. Did anyone see the post on reddit with the guy who found T-Carts for Illusions and Scarfinger?
