Love bomb squad.... except for the 3-3 game where all you hear is right more, left more, down more, up more.
It's like the controller cannot move at the right distance to make the game happy lol. All the other levels are great though. I didn't have Intellivoice games a s a kid..... I haven't gotten into B17 Bomber yet either, seems to complicated.....
I have one word for your comment, Rickster8!

I had to have a couple of these Roms, @nanochess! While I was ordering, I picked up a copy of your "Programming Games for the Intellivision" e-book.......
.....wouldn't that be something? 😁

Once again, we're going to make AtariAge badges for anyone who is interested. Last year we had a design that looks like the front of an Atari 5200 cartridge. Depending on how much time we have, we may design a new badge or just use the same design from last year. Either way, I'll be making badges for anyone who wants one. The badges come with a spiffy AtariAge lanyard, and a plastic badge holder.
If you'd like one, please post in this thread with your name, AtariAge handle, and location (CIty/State, Country, etc.), or alternatively send me a Private Message! I'll then make sure a badge is waiting for you at the AtariAge booth. You don't have to have all this information on the badge if you just want, for instance, your name or handle displayed.
Here's a photo that shows two different badges we've in the recent past. The one on the left is from 2018 and 2019, the one on the right from 2022:
I hope to create a new badge for this year's show, but if time runs short, we'll go with the one on the right.
Again, if you're interested in a badge, either post here with the information (as specified above) or send me a personal message.
See everyone in Portland!

Thanks so much, Albert! I'd love to get a badge! Cheers! 🍻👍

Thanks, Rev! I love watching these things. I vaguely remember playing one of those kiosk's in the Sears in the Bangor Mall back in the day. I love watching the multi-take news reports, too. The end products always look so smooth in these reports, but it takes a lot of work to get there. Thanks for finding this.

I heard today that Homebrew Inc has sold 43/50 sets, so there are only 7 sets left. Remember, and I tried to stress this in the video, I was told that all four of these games would be available individually in the future, but it will be a while. European orders will also be taken by Good Deal Games (according to Homebrew Inc.) for individual games in the future. I suspect that this initial preorder is a boost to get more games into production, and I'm confident that they'll be able to do so. 👍

I’m not sure how many have had the opportunity to actually play it, but it’s incredibly smooth. I’m a terrible chess player, but know enough to play a game, and this version just works so well. Cheers, Oscar! 👍🏻

I do not wish to be forced to artificially inflate someone’s watch count (and ego) just because I wanted to know how much the game cost. That could have been a one liner at the top of this thread.🙄

Thanks, Jay! Love you, too!😊 👍🏻

Apparently the color of the ship’s windshield+trims indicate level of fuel left. Cyan means full tank and red blinking means about to run out for instance.
Also if you pause the game, the fuel level is shown in numbers.
I should have paused and shown that in the video. It’s actually in the manual, too.

Yah that's what the delay was, waiting for Atari! Let's go with that! 😝
And NOW, we have to get things rolling! LOL

Go vote on this fun topic while we wait for the clowns running the 2022 to finally get the nomination lists together. 😬 Thanks to Rev to coming up with this idea
I've been waiting to hear some news to get to set some dates and get this thing rolling! I figured that we'd wait for the Atari one to end, at this point. 👍

I dunno but Papa Pete says the 5 pager and the 6 pager are missing stuff that the 7 pager has..... So I figured I better ask cuz I couldn't get my IP address lastnight trying to transfer roms onto the flashback. I've been able to use the thumb stick though for the roms, but not the box art yet..... This stuff isn't easy for me... Have problems loading roms onto my LTO Flash and problems loading roms onto my flashback. With Atari everything has (transferring roms) been simple even for me... 🥺
Just seeing this now. Sorry! Here's the newest version that I have that has 7 pages. (Well, six and a half). I believe that this is the most up to date version. 👍

Super Pro Space Spartans
in Intellivision / Aquarius
Posted
I've been fortunate enough to be working with Dave and testing these three great games. They're all games that I played the living SH*T out of when I was a kid, and have kept playing right through the years, because I simply love them. As with most every remaster that Dave has done, I'm happy to say that he's taken three great games and is making them even better. There's still work to be done, but rest assured, this is going to be a show stopper for fans of these games.
FYI: If you saw my videos on the B17 & Bomb Squad betas, quite a few more improvements have been made since(and very well done, I might add). I won't be doing any more videos on them until there's a finished product, and in the same vein, I'm going to wait for the Anthology's completion before I release anything on the upcoming Space Spartans. No Beta videos for it. I'm REALLY looking forward to this whole set of games!
Cheers! (and thanks, Dave!)
