  1. Do you still have this board? Any chance of getting a dump of the Omnimon 8k ROM?
  2. several versions in this thread.... http://atariage.com/forums/topic/280291-banked-8k-omnimon-l-u-dump/
  3. Was reading about all of the alternate versions (A,R,L,U) of Omnimon that were available for the 800, and wonder if anyone has come across dumps of any of them?
  4. Does your un-wired board have the Jumper wire from J - K? Without this wire it would act like the switch was in the center position, which disables the hotkeys. <edit> Just looked at you picture and it does not appear to have a jumper.
  5. Yes, the toggle switches betweem Omnimon and Omniview. It simply toggles the A12 line to choose between the upper and lower halves of the 64Mb EPROM.
  6. Here ya go. The wiring for the switch is described in this document. Omnimon_handbook.PDF
  7. Here's a link to one that seems to be a cross between your board and mine. It looks like the 4 wires go to a pair of on/off pushbutton switches, but you cant see how they are wired. I know my switch selects between Omnimon and Omniview 80. I wonder what those other switches do? https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1979-onmimon-board-david-young-atari-1823597376
  8. Mines quite a bit different so not much help. Mine only has 2 wires that go to a SPST switch, and a 28 pin EPROM. one wire goes to the same place as your black wire. The other goes to pin 2 of the eprom. Also from pin 2 is a pull up resistor, the other end of which is soldered to pins 26,27 and 28 of the eprom. Pin 1 of the eprom is left floating.
  9. Not to mention, plug and play, no soldering required and completely reversible in a socketed machine.
  10. Nir was wrong about that. It happens.
  11. For Antonia? No, in fact you can remove all of the RAM an ROM chips as well as a few of the memory support chips from the MB.
  12. I've put both an Antonia board and an Ultimate 1MB in 600xl's without much trouble. Both are great. Nice thing about antonia is you don't need to upgrade to 64K first. That said, there's not much you can't do with a 600xl with a U1MB and a SIDE2 cart. Build yourself an SDrive-max to go along with it and there's not much else you need.
  13. You can also have it boot to the sdrive.com program which allows you to select the ATR files on the Atari screen, and it is capable of displaying the long file names.
  14. What kind of cable are you using between the Atari video port and the upscaler. Are you sure it is connecting to the correct pins?
  15. Surprising....the 600xl is my favorite these days. With all the easy upgrade options you can get a very small footprint with all the best upgrades!
  16. I guess there were different versions of the custom chip too. The one in mine is labeled PRC9985-6.
  17. Ouch! At least I sold my 1090XL for a few bills ......still my biggest Atari regret though.
  18. Sounds like a great time to get an Ultimate 1MB! then your SIDE2 can do that for you.
  19. With this diagram, you can use a continuity tester to determine if the keyboard is the problem.
  20. How about an intelligent cache?
  21. Teledisk or Anadisk would probably work for those of us that still have old PCs around with 360 K floppy drives.
  22. Because there are no Atari disk copiers that will read/write 256 bytes to sectors 1-3.
  23. Sounds like you're doing everything right (although you don't mention the terminal disk, I'll assume you booted it first). Acting like the boot disk is not right. I'd start by using a sector copier to copy every sector, empty or not. Are you writing the boot disk in your Indus? Are you using the Utility Disk from the link on Trub's page? Other possibilities ..... wrong ROM version? bad Ramcharger? Do you have a different Indus you can try with?
