  1. Most likely the other side of the switch would have gone to pin 27 of the EPROM for a 2 OS switcher..
  2. For some reason, I can only see your first picture, the rest are just a bunch of random characters. Apparently others can see more?
  3. Have you tried simply re-seating all of the socketed chips? Sorry if you did and I missed it.
  4. Woo Hoo! Mine has made it to the States finally! 2019-10-17 08:45 ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS), Processed Through Facility -> Your item has been processed through our facility in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) at 8:45 am on October 17, 2019.
  5. I doubt that's your problem. Those things never go bad. Unless they are physically cracked I wouldn't worry about them.
  6. XF551 is a 40 track drive (per side).
  7. Teledisk or Anadisk might work. It's pretty hit or miss. There are several versions of teledisk. Try them all, the latest is not always the best for any given hardware configuration.
  8. Came across this picture today on a How To Geek article. It reminded me of those old "How many mistakes can you spot in this picture" puzzles....
  9. That revived a dormant brain cell... See page 6. https://archive.org/details/Atari_Classics_v4n2_Mar-Apr_1995/page/n4
  10. Is your board populated with the 5 IC Chips? I believe 4 of them are quad analog switches? Most pictures I've seen of the deluxe model have them. Mine just has the switches and several jumpers, no ICs. I guess they figured out later on in production that they didn't need to switch out so many lines. The switches do work this way and appear to be exactly the same switches used on the chipped model, so I don't think it was a user mod.
  11. I've used my MPP Micronet and Deluxe Quintopus in conjunction like that, but now that I think about it, I have no idea if the Micronet provides 5V out or not.
  12. OSN, Omnimon, Omniview and Fastchip were all separate products on the 800 line. No reason that OSN source listings would include any of the others.
  13. Best Electronics: 810 / 1050 Drive select switch CO14725 $2.00 http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/addendum.htm
  14. Cool, that's a very nice feature. Thanks!
  15. Why does the Lotharek SIO splitter need power?
  16. There was also the Quintopus. The deluxe model even had switchable ports. http://www.realdos.net/SIO_Quintopus.html
  17. My 1.1K (27128 EPROM) is identical to to the 1.1 above dumped from the EEPROM.
  18. It's not necessarily the frequency with which it happens. The failure mode of this particular design causes over-voltage which can destroy chips, rendering the computer dead. With the others, if they fail, replace the PS and you're back in business.
  19. I keep waiting for someone to patch a Happy ROM with increased Step Rate for WST Mechs.
  20. I've got a 1.1K that I'll dump as soon as I can get around to it. It's from a 256K MIO.
  21. Or get one of these and a usb to sata cable.....or just upgrade to windows 10 (I know) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030D3T16/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  22. Can blame the eyes too. 6 and 8 look a lot alike and our eyes aren't getting any better either. I'm just glad I'm near sighted so I can still see the fine print pretty well. Don't need those large fonts yet!
  23. Don't know about the Micro, but I believe the Sdrive-ARM is still available: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/262509-sdrive-arm-preorder/?tab=comments#comment-3701745
