  1. You can also play with 4 players with Warlords version Atari Vault and Atari50 😍
  2. Has anyone tried to install chromeos and if so is there an operating mode?
  3. Do you have an installation guide with links and different steps to install MacOS?
  4. If I use SteamVR in PC mode it will be ok with the VCS, no ?
  5. Here is the list of Stern Electronics games that belonged to them alone and can therefore be part of the deal. : Berzerk (1980) Moon War (1981) Armored Car (1981) Frenzy (1982) Tazz-Mania (1982) Rescue (1982) Mazer Blazer (1982) Lost Tomb (1982) Minefield (1983) Cliff Hanger (1983) Great Guns (1984) Goal to Go (1984) The other games were co-developed, or owned by Konami or Sega As there are 12 games in the deal, we have to be very close to the exact list.
  6. "Wade Rosen wants Atari to come back as one of the most valuable gaming brands. After all, there aren't many 50-year-old gaming companies." I specify that this is not my sentence, but a quote taken from Venturebeat.
  7. This confirms that Atari has hardware projects in addition to continuing to support the VCS on the software side. Wait and see.
  8. After Dosbox I just tried Stella. Everything works well as you can see in the photo 😍
  9. I don't know. I just tried the manipulation to activate dosbox in visible and thus be able to launch my games and in any case it works.
  10. My solution to run games from steam, epic games, gog, Ubisoft Connect ... is to connect all these accounts to my Geforce Now account. Thus, I can play almost all the "greedy" games of all these digital game platforms in streaming. Ok, I actually have to pay 9.99 € / month to Nvidia but I get a modern gaming experience with 60 fps, RTX On, and 1080P resolution. If you pay 19.99 € / month you get 4k resolution, 120 fps, with graphics from Geforce RTX 3080 / 4080. So, for my part, I agree to pay this subscription because I buy the games on the different platforms by buying product codes on other platforms that save me money. Let me explain. For example, I acquired Modern Warfare II via eneba.com for €53.13 instead of €69.99 on Steam! That's 17€ savings, nearly 2 months of Geforce Now subscription It's cheaper than on Xbox Series X (79.99€)...
  11. The keyboard is not necessary because after a delay the update of the OS via the USB key starts itself. I will add instead to connect this usb stick rather on a rear usb port of the console. The USB stick can be 8 or 4gb only. Maybe even 2gb. To be checked according to the size of the img file.
  12. Because I want to help Europeans acquire this machine, I import 10. This is the speakerhat Walnut Black all in bundle. Normally it is sold 379.99 Usd excluding tax in the USA. When we add taxes, transport costs, customs clearance the price in euros reaches nearly 620 euros. I add the mickey plug to European plug adapter and update each console so that they are plug & play as soon as they are unboxed. I sell the package 400 euros plus shipping costs in UE. So it's very close to the official US price. If you are interested or know people in European Union who want to get this machine write me privately with your address that I tell you the shipping costs. If you prefer to kill 2 birds with one stone, come to the GemTOS convention in the north-east of Paris to pick it up. To register for this convention contact Emmanuel Huysman.
  13. Normally by following all the steps, including step 4, you will display in the AtariOs menu the Stella application which is usually hidden... Once all the steps are completed, you restart the VCS under AtariOS. By clicking on the Stella image, you will launch the application and you will have the possibility to launch all the roms that you have previously saved in the ROMS directory.
  14. You can use Stella in the VCS with all yours roms if you want : https://discord.gg/atarivcs In the #Guide Channel you will find Stella_Atari_VCS.pdf This file explain how to do it.
  15. In the interview, the developer specifies that he does not want to give a specific date but that he would like the game to be released in the first half of 2023.
  16. You have to press the ESC key with a wired keyboard.
  17. They clarified afterwards that the VCS version already contained these improvements. So no update for us. We had a version already advanced although delivered after the others. It is the privilege of delays.
  18. Indeed, some monitors or TVs do not support the bios resolution.
  19. You have to flash the OS. Yes. You'll find the information on the AtariVCS Discord channel #troubleshooting. Thanks David Paige alias Davpa : The upgrade is available : Here is the link to the latest version of the atari os with the bios upgrade 24. here is a video that goes step by step flashing a VCS as explained by Davpa and just in case, your VCS could be locked up with Secure Boot. connect a usb keyboard > keep clicking on DEL as the VCS boots up> puts you in a menu select option > pick "reboot to firmware interface" > pick administer secure boot > enter password **Atar!C3l3br8te$50Ye4r$** > disable enforce secure boot > press F10 to save & exit Good luck.
  20. A very good solution until Atari sets up a cloud synchronization for that.
  21. New post from Atari : Inspired by the past, built for today. @MyAcadeRetro #MyArcade #Atari #RetroGaming What do you think now? A new VCS 2.0 inspired by 5200 or 7800 ?
  22. See Atari HALF-YEAR 2022/2023 RESULTS CONTINUED TRANSFORMATION EFFORTS : ● Hardware – The first-half of the year was primarily dedicated to the reorganization of the Hardware line of business which includes the suspension of direct hardware manufacturing relationships, notably with regards to the Atari VCS, for which a new commercial strategy has been implemented as of the end of calendar year 2022 and that will continue in calendar year 2023. In parallel, Atari is considering developing new hardware complementary to the Atari VCS with partners under licensing contracts. ● Licensing – Atari has focused its efforts on building new licensing verticals with the support of a brand licensing agency to drive new initiatives across new categories and geographies with well-respected and recognized international brands. OUTLOOK In the second half of the year, Atari intends to continue to focus on executing its turnaround strategy and transformational efforts across all four lines of business: ● Games - Continue to launch new premium games leveraging Atari’s large catalog of intellectual property. Atari’s collaboration with Fig Publishing, Inc., part of the Republic ecosystem, to co-produce certain new video games in development is expected to start in the first quarter of calendar year 2023; ● Hardware - Implementation of a new commercial strategy for VCS and launching a complementary hardware strategy via partnerships and under license agreements; ● Licensing - Continued development of licensing opportunities with the support of a brand licensing agency across multiple geographies and verticals
