  1. Oh crap! What is that monkey? Does it have an extended thumb that it sucks?
  2. Yeah mine is in storage at my parents house. Funny thing is I have been buying plug and play sticks and paddles and flashbacks because even though I ahve a ton of games, can't play them even if I knew it would work- it has the old TV connector.
  3. The two player version is currently at Circuit City for 19.99. Toys R Us 24.99. Quite a bit cheaper on ebay, especially for the single player version. But after shipping, it's actually pretty close. And most of those say "NR", and are sendbacks. Considering the first one I bought (at $34.99) I ended up returning, I want it from somehwere I can return it if defective. Plus, you definitely want the 2player version if you get one of these.
  4. It seems to be just a smaller version of the stick, but I read that the "detail and the clarity of the mini" isn't as good. Don't see why that would be, but too bad they didn't make the mspacman into this instead. Anyone tried it? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...151968?v=glance
  5. I think I found my answer: "Several games have been hacked : the copyright marks and original publisher logos were removed, and some sprites have been modified. Most of them have been renamed. " So they sound like they will play the same, just look different.
  6. "127 different games" hah, you thought I was asking... Well, I kinda assumed it would not be 127 of the same game lol I mean for instance, Exerion Jr. on the super tv-boy is supposed to be Demon Attack- is it really demon attack, with just a different name, or is the game itself different? Thanks. Anyone played one of thse?
  7. Yeah I saw them for sale first and wanted to know what they "looked like". The games are identical, just with different names, or completely differetn?
  8. What's the scoop on these things? 127 games- are they weak? I saw the blurb about them on the faq here, but anywehre I can see screen shots of these things?
  9. Don't see anywhere to specify size. Guess everyone gets a medium?
  10. Certain games you get advantages when you flick the power switch off and on. Is this damaging in any way to the console, and is that just a glitch or designed intentionally?
  11. (rerun) Anyone have both the stelladaptor and the atari activision anthology for pc? Compatible?
  12. Hmm, worth it for sure if there are still any around. THankfully I returned the ones I think I paid $30 for quite a while back (the stick got too loose and became almost unplayable). But it'd be worth it for five bucks just to play until it dies then just dump it. Or just not be so hard on them. Thanks for the heads up.
  13. Yeah, they must not be letting them run on ebay. No modded, hacked, or lol cartridge enabled fb2's.
  14. I know it's technically illegal to sell modified game systems on ebay, but the fb2 is a little different. Are there certain code words other than modded they might be using, if there are any out there? (not a narc)
  15. Love the PC version, but for some reason they felt the need to dump Demon Attack for GBA. FT.
  16. Demon Attack. It has such unique images and colors for the 2600, it seems dark yet vibrant all at the same time. And the demon's movements are different than most other atari bg's. Almost a live, organic quality to how they fly. Very fluid. I like the sounds too. EVerything else is smooth swooshes, and hypnotic rhythms. The only punishing sound is when you lose, a sonic collapse into chaos and lightning. But most of all I like it because it's my most fun game to play, and looks so much more sophisticated and polished than games of comparable simplicity.
  17. Just so you know what's in store. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77358
  18. Sounds like they threw peanuts, thinking you would just be jumping at the opportunity for recognition. Respect for preserving integrity. I'm sure that was hard to pass up at any price.
  19. Walter, is anyone still airing Dr. Who anymore? I haven't seen it in years, and have not been able to find it in the tv guide.
  20. Yeah I think the problem is when you "mod" new systems, it undermines profits from game sales. Atari is not selling new cartridges, they don't care if we use our old ones. It's just that Ebay won't know/care about the difference.
  21. How about electric shock feedback in the controller? 935383[/snapback] Ebay Listing: ANIB Atari Evolution GnadPad with testi-lectrical feedback (includes pair of once used electrodes).
  22. Nice. How much did those run you? I wish I could run across a new pair like that. Let us know when they start jumping. Hopefully never.
