Hi Beeblebrox, unfortunately that is only half true ? So yes, there is a 410 version with external power supply (6V /300mA) that has no switch. But there is also a version of the 410 with internal power supply, which also has no switch. See pictures attached... Pic 1-3 My 410 with 220V and Power Switch Pic 4-5 My 410 with external PS 6v/300mA Pic 6 a 410 with internal PS and no switch I guess my 220V ATARI 410 version was rebuilt afterwards and the transformer was replaced by a 220V one. Cheers, andY

Hi, there are several possibilities. If the VCS has already logged into the WLAN once, you can see the MAC address via the IP of the VCS in your router. If you have a Win-PC in the network you can scan the network e.g. with the tool "Softperfect Network Scanner". You can find it here: SoftPerfect Network Scanner Or if you have an Android or Apple Mobile, you can also scan the network with the Fing APP (available in the App Stores) or on the fing Website: FING App. Cheers, andY

Incognito in an NTSC Atari 800 - what does PAL option do?
andymanone replied to Lambda Mikel's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yes, you are right. The Incognito can be used for both, NTSC and PAL machines, hence the two profiles. But you can convert an NTSC machine into a PAL machine. I used TF_HH's Super Color CPU Card (SCCC), and then replaced GTIA (CO14805) and ANTIC (CO12296) with PAL versions (CO14889 and CO12698), and changed the system crystal on the mainboard. That works perfectly. Cheers, andY -
ATARI VCS meets Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Graphics
andymanone replied to andymanone's topic in VCS PC-Mode Discussion
Yes, seems to be the proper one... Cheers, andY -
I face the same issue with some Consoles in the past. You could try to go to the menu / configuration part of your TV set and go to the " Screen Format Option" there try to use "Auto-Scan" feature. After than the screen should be shown in a proper way. Cheers, andY

Again a next new member for the 800's database community?. Its an NTSC, 48k. Unfortunately no stamp or handwritten sticker, only the label. Cheers., andY

Interested in a new Acrylic case for 800XE/130XE series ?
andymanone replied to andymanone's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Not yet at the moment, but the manufacturer is still considering whether to additionally produce housings for peripherals (like floppy 1050, XF551). Later possibly also for the 600XL, if the demand is big enough for it. Cheers, andY -
Interested in a new Acrylic case for 800XE/130XE series ?
andymanone replied to andymanone's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Now you could try, to upgrade it with some colours inside, like I did ? Yeaah, sure, it´s not a big deal ;), but the transparent case is perfect for various (light-)gimmicks, I experimented a bit with a 5050'er RGB set including controller and remote . For this I got myself a cheap Mood-Light set (about 11€), which is perfect for the installation, because the set: 1. is powered by USB (5+VDC), so the voltage can be taken perfectly directly from the ATARI 2. has a radio remote control instead of an IR remote control, so the controller can be hidden in the case The FB is used to control the LED controller regarding color, brightness, modes or just to turn it off, if it should get on your nerves ?! Here are some pictures of the first test setup. For later I thought about replacing the 0-8-15 standard controller with an Arduino Mini or RPi0 or similar, in order to indicate with the RGB-LED's additionally also certain activities and/or conditions of the ATARI optically, like e.g: - Basic on/off - current OS version at OS-Switcher (red /green/blue/white) - SIO activities - system- or CPU-temperature - Stereo on/off Just to name a few examples... Cheers, andY -

My last purchase on Ebay, was a sad, sick old patient, who deserves some love and care.... He came from a flea market dealer and my offer of 60USD was accepted ?. Now I'm waiting for his arrival and then I will immediately get to work, to cure the patient again ??.... Fortunately, it makes a very good impression from the case without defects or damage.... Cheers, andY

Interested in a new Acrylic case for 800XE/130XE series ?
andymanone replied to andymanone's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
So guys, the time has come?! The brand new XE acrylic case for all ATARI 800XE/130XE/65XE (in the ECI version) is available in the STORE and can be ordered now! The photo in the store currently still shows the prototype (with the shorter vents), but the final delivery version already has the longer vents (pictures to follow...) The new XE case costs 65 Euro plus shipping, I think that's a very fair price. For all customers outside of Germany (or don´t speak German): If you want to purchase or got questions, but got problems with the german shop, please send an eMail to info@plexilaser.de (in english if possible). You can place your order also by eMail. Please feel free to contact Plexilaser. Cheers and a nice weekend @all ?! andY
