  5. Sorry, I´m late, but very busy last time. Like promised, here some pics of my Dock/PSU/GTX wiring. 1. Connect the CPU 12V 4pin connector from your PSU to the free 4 pin Dock connector(like shown below) 2. Connect the PSU "Mainboard connector" 24 pin (20+4 pin - the 4Pin part is detachable, like shown below) 3. If you use an graphic card with it´s own PCIe Power connector, so connect the 6 pin PCI-E connector from your PSU (like shown below) to your graphic card to Make sure that the yellow cables are connected to the other yellow cables and the black cables are connected to the black cables. For the 20+4 connection, make sure that the green cable is connected to the other green cable. That´s all . Now it should automatically power on, if you power on your VCS. Good luck, andY
  6. Ohhh! Holy cow?!!! What did you do? I'll post you tomorrow how I did the wiring. Cheers, andY
  7. James, it´s dead ?!!!! No Joe!!! It´s okay, believe me.... -> Stop riding a dead horse
  8. Ohh again a little free courage wave swim along, cool... I think the show has been over for a long, long time.... All the people who don't have a VCS hate it ... and those who have a VCS, love it exactly for the reason: because it does what WE expected it to do. Cheers, andY
  9. I´ve upgraded my VCS in the past with a pair of Crucial SODIMM´s (see attached pic). I´ve used two 16GB SODIMM´s for 32GB, but of course you can take two 8GB for 16GB. But finally you can use every manufacturer, that provides the proper specifications: SODIMM, DDR4, LP (Low Power) 1.2v What the extra RAM will do: I think I don´t have to explain that . But: The AMD Graphics use shared memory, so you get some more free RAM, available for Windows and applications Cheers, andY
  10. Sounds great ?! About your questions: 1. It´s very easy. Of course you´ll need an external ATX-Power Supply (you´ll see it on my pictures too). You have to connect it to the Dock and - if you use an powerful graphic card, also to the Power-connector on your graphic card. (of course you must connect the ATX24-Pin connector to the Dock too (this one with the only one green wire), to automatically "power on" the external Powersupply ) 2. After than the VCS recognize your graphic card automatically and you have only to install the latest Nvidia (oder Radeon) drivers for Win10 or Linux. Thats all . Good luck, and if you´ve further questions let me know.... Cheers, andY
  11. Thanks ?! Yes, of course I can provide the proper parts you need. 1. EXP GDC Beast Graphic Dock 2. HDMI to NGFF M.2 cable If you need both, then you can buy this one: Festnight External Card Graphics Dock NGFF M.2 A/E Key Version for V8.0 EXP GDC Beast If you own an EXP GDC Beast, than you only need the proper NGFF M.2 cable, like this: Fasient1 HDMI adapter cable, NGFF M.2 A / E key HDMI external graphics card line adapter (Keep in mind: only the NGFF M.2 cable works! You can find the difference in the last picture.) If you have any question, feel free to ask me. Cheers, andY
  12. Lotharek´s USB AKI interface should provide this feature. It works with Wireless keyboards too. ATARI 8-BIT AKI USB Interface (Video) Lotharek´s Lair - AKI USB Interface (Webshop) Cheers, andY
  13. Yes, it´s easy... I´m using "Nox Player" on Win10 on my VCS. Take a look at post: -> My NOX Player on VCS Cheers, andY
  14. ??! Yes, I have lying around lots of ATARI-Chips here for Testing and Repairing and to prevent mixing defects and functioning, I have marked most of them with a pencil ?. Cheers, andY
  15. I like the straight forward and solderless 4MB RAM-Upgrade solution "Antonia" from Simius ?. It´s easy to "Plug´n´Play", offers a maximum of 4MB RAM and comes with a 100% compatible 65816 CPU Replacement, (nice side effect: this CPU keeps cool and doesn't get as hot as the original one) Cheers, andY
  16. Little fun fact: In germany ALDI use the "Trader Joe´s" brand for "American food" products. Gtx, andY
  17. If one of this should be available again, so count me in for one please! I know, the price should be more expensive, I´ll accept it of course. Thanks & cheers, andY
  18. If this one should be available again, so count me in for one please! If the price should be more expensive, I´ll accept it of course. Thanks & cheers, andY
  19. Yes, I know this?! Thatswhy i made this ambiguous joke ?
  20. I´ve used for the M2 SSD the typical M3 (Metric 3 / Lenght 4mm) screws, you´ll find in every PC Case Kit for mounting the mainboard. But you can take equal screws with a smaller head. Cheers, andY
  21. I have soldered a micro switch from the beginning, so it works perfectly. You can later close the housing again and you don't run the risk of creating a short-circuit. Cheers, andY
