  1. Is the SGM2 still planned on being released this year?
  2. What are the full list of games on the ColecoVision that support memory backup saves (sram, eeprom, etc)? I know that unreleased prototype Lord's of the Dungeon had save support. I believe it used sram. The Sg-1000 port of Black Onyx also has save support (the original Sg-1000 game used passwords instead I believe so this is a nice upgrade. I believe it uses eeprom. Also Boxxle has save support which I believe is eeprom. Are there any other games with memory backup? It would be nice to modify some games for saving highscores on the Coleco SD cart.
  3. Are Intellivision Sylvania systems rarer than the standard Intellivisions because they were only sold in limited quantities? I've been looking for a Sylvania unit but they don't appear as often one ebay so it's been hard to reference serial numbers. Do you know to read this serial number on this Sylvania unit on ebay? https://www.ebay.com/itm/165353018251?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=EQqf4A5cTKK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=q-XjhmwiSjS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS It looks like it sold 1,913,370 units but that can't be right? I'm looking for a launch model intellivision and from my research, only a few thousand dollars Sylvania units were available at the test launch in 79. Are all Sylvania intellivisions launch systems or are they only a minority of the launch units? Thank you for your help
  4. Interesting, I didn't know some game carts were made in Mexico. I find it interesting that the US Odyssey2 didn't have a manufacturer sticker on the place of manufacture. I guess they wanted it to be a secret?
  5. I'm curious where the US Mangavox Odyssey2 and the Phillip's Videopac released in Europe and South America were manufactured at? My Odyssey2 is a launch model with the removable joysticks but it doesn't say on the serial sticker on both the box and console if it was made in the USA. I assume that they were produced in China or Taiwan but I'd like to see if any were made elsewhere.
  6. I recently found that there was a different released colecovision console with model number 2413 instead of the normal 2400. It also has blue text for the bottom label instead of the usual black. Does anyone know anything about this model version?
  7. What games on the ColecoVision have simultaneous multiplayer gameplay? Please include official games, homebrew, and game hacks in the list. The only game I know of is Mario Bros.
  8. The AC adapter isn't the problem. Looks like there is some interference being caused by one of the old capacitors and power regulator. Possibly the chips may be causing interference. I'll try reseating the chips and see if that helps reduce the interference. The composite mod requires more voltage and a more steady voltage current than the original RF modulator. I think that is why I never noticed the color bleed before. Composite has a sharper image.
  9. I broke part of the 5v trace so I had to solder it in about a half inch below it.
  10. After further testing, I think it's a voltage problem. Somehow the composite video amp is not getting a clean sufficient 5 volts. I'll try using a new ac adapter and see if that helps. If not, maybe it's the voltage regulator.
  11. I recently performed an Atari 2600 AV composite for the first time. Overall I'm pleased with the results. However there is some noticeable ghosting on the picture. I triple checked my solder joints and all is good (even if my soldering skills leaves a lot to be desired). From what I've read online, the problem could arise from several different sources. I'm using an original Atari ac adapter that has 500 amps. I soldered the ground wires in so there is less audio and video noise compared to the original RF. Could reseating the chips help at all? Or do you think I need replace the voltage regulator? Thank you ror your help.
  12. In the video, he said it was intended to only sell for $75 for each unit. That's really cheap.
  13. Do you mean it uses only standard composite video instead of an RGB signal? Or that it uses composite video as sync (instead of CSYNC)?
  14. How does the Super Action Controller compare to the standard Colecovision controller in ergonomics and responsiveness? I'm looking for a new controller because my only Coleco Controller has a broken up contact button so the up button no longer works. And the left trigger doesn't work even after I clean it. So I'm looking for a more reliable and comfortable controller but I'm not sure how the S.A.C. holds up. Thanks everyone.
  15. Even if this is dead in the water, it would still be nice to one day have a SD flashcart option for the Intellivision. The LTO Flash is elusive and never seems to be available for sale.
  16. Did they adapt the Penguin Land Sg-1000 version or the SMS Penguin Land version?
  17. Is there a possibility that these NTT PCB's will be made again in the near future? My colecovision controller has a broken up button that can't be fixed and a broken left side trigger which I need to fix every few weeks.
  18. Oops didn't realize that! I would love to play this Penguin Land port but I can't find a cartridge or digital rom for sale anywhere so I thought I should ask on this forum.
  19. Does Penguin Land require the Super Game Module add-on? If it doesn't require the add-on, I'm interested in buying this game.
  20. Hi I was wondering when this hack can be available for purchase or downlead?
