  1. I'm going to try it! I'll post some pictures here when I finish.
  2. Just realized that a Atari Jaguar 3 button controller would accomplish the same task because it has a D-Pad and the 10 keys. It's also much cheaper to buy and modify one of those Jaguar controllers than the rare and expensive super famicom NTT keypad controller.
  3. Do you know of anyone that might have a controller they would be willing to sell? I think it would be awesome if someone made new controllers that are replicas of the original NTT keypad controller for the colecovision. NES controllers and Genesis controllers for the Coleco are nice but nothing beats having both a D-Pad and all 10 keys on the same controller. It's really top shelf in my opinion.
  4. Thank you for your response. Do you know if it would be possible to do an AV mod on a 6 switch Atari without removing any components (resistors, capacitors, etc) while still retaining full RF functionality like the Colecovision AV mod?
  5. I recently saw a mod done on the 3DO game console that removed the hard wired power cord and replaced it with a standard double barrel power port. I was wondering if a similar power cord mod could be done on the Intellivision model 1. This way you don't need to carry the power cord around when you move or disassemble the system. Thanks everyone!
  6. I recently saw a mod done on the 3DO game console that removed the hard wired power cord and replaced it with a standard double barrel power port. I was wondering if a similar power cord mod could be done on the Bally. This way you don't need to carry the ac adapter brick plug around when you move or disassemble the system. Of course the RF cable will still be attached on the back but I was planning on doing a insertable S-Video or YUV component mod anyway. Let me know what you all think. Thanks everyone!
  7. I like how this can help unleash the full potential of the Bally Arcade. It would be great to see what games can look like on a hi-res system that take advantage of it's capabilities.
  8. Is there a no trace cut AV composite mod available for the Atari 2600? I've always thought that you need to cut traces and remove components to disable RF so that composite video will work. However, I did a composite mod yesterday on my Colecovision and I didn't have to cut any traces or remove any components. All I had to do was solder in the video, audio, ground, and 12v wires to the RF board. The video and audio look great with no noise while the RF functionality is still intact. Also does anyone know if the 3.5mm headphone jack to AV composite adds more noise to the audio and video signal when compared to the standard RCA jacks? I think that the video and audio pins on the 3.55mm jack are too close together so they might cause additional noise.
  9. So that was why there was a snes port on the phoenix.
  10. Where can I purchase or find someone that can build a NTT keypad controller for the colecovision? I like how all keys are available making this a perfect replacement for the colecovision controller.
  11. I'm glad that is an option but I think the original NES gamepad extremely uncomfortable. Wish they made controllers that are in the NES dogbone style or SNES style.
  12. It's hard for me to navigate the link I posted but each game rom has been hash verified. This lets you see each unique rom.
  13. https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/hash/videopac.xml
  14. I messaged the person that makes these adapters and he says that the Genesis cobtroller sends a signal that confuses the Odyssey2 into thinking its a paddle signal. He said that he will have to make an adapter specifically for the Genesis controller to be compatible. I like the Odyssey2 joysticks but they're hard to use with precision.
  15. I actually love the Bally controllers but they're hard to find. I wanted to have two more controllers for 4 player games but I can't find any Bally controllers for sale.
  16. Thanks, I found it. How do you place orders on this website? It looks a bit old-school and is hard for me to navigate.
  17. Seems like the xport version is the way to go feature wise and for ease of use.
  18. I tried finding it but didn't see it. I only saw the composute/s-video combo.
  19. Sorry I meant if the new internal ODE would support EM256 emulation, meaning that I don't need the official save peripheral.
  20. I filled in for a fz1 internal ode. My only question is if there is still the save ram backup support of the EM256 addon that was only released in Japan?
  21. The Brazilian Odyssey2 has some exclusives I think so that should count as it's own category. I know that the Brazilian games use NTSC so they are more compatible with the US Odyssey systems. I'll try using the videopac forum and see what I can find.
  22. What are the exclusives for the G7000 during it's commercial life? It's confusing to cross reference the games between the Odyssey 2 and G7000 because they usually changed the name of the game. Thank you for your help.
  23. Yeah I didn't realize that before. I only asked because I couldn't find a place to purchase a physical copy but the link has been fixed now. I would like to buy a digital copy of the rom preferably but I'm also fine with a physical cart.
  24. Has there been an update on compatibility with the Ultimate SD cart?
