  1. Is there a list of four player games for the Colecovision for the multitap?
  2. A master system controller might work though. I'll have to try it.
  3. Thank you! From what I read, the Sega Genesis controller will not work unless it has +5v on the power pin. It would need some kind of coin battery to power it but it might be not worth going through that much trouble. At least the atari joysticks are a possibility.
  4. Can someone build cable adapters that can convert Sega Genesis/Mega Drive 3-button controllers to the Bally Arcade? I know this won't work with games that use the paddle functionality but only a minority of games actually use it. Thank you.
  5. Can someone build two cable adapters that convert Sega Genesis/Mega Drive 3-button controllers to the early model Odyssey2 that has the two controller ports?
  6. Yeah it won't let me buy it. I would prefer buying a digital version of the rom because I have the videopac sd flash cart adapter. If anyone has a physical cartridge of this, could you dump the rom? Thanks.
  7. What is the best Colecovision mod/kit I can buy for my Colecovisuon that offers the cleanest video and audio signal? Is there a AV mod that doesn't require cutting any traces or removing any components like capacitors or resistors? I know there are no cut mods like those found on the Intellivision and Odyssey2.
  8. Can I pay to have a digital copy of the rom please?
  9. Can any of you guys with systems with a serial number below 1000 take some pictures of the internal power supply and the main board PCB? I would love to compare it to the newer systems and see what was changed.
  10. I like that early serial number you found! I've been looking to find more info on these early 1979 test launch units since less than a 1000 were sold. Could you please take a picture of the internal power supply and the main board PCB chips? I would like ro compare this to newer Intellivision systems. Also let me know if the main board has screws holding the RF shield on or solder. I heard a rumor that some of the early units didn't have the RF shield soldered on.
  11. Do you know how many units were sold during the 1979 test launch? My guess is below 1000 but I could be wrong.
  12. I wonder why they didn't let you save level progression in that game? Probably not enough space in the EEPROM to save both high scores and level progression. Another game besides Towers II with a larger than normal EEPROM (as far as I can tell) is the Theme Park game. There is no way only 128 bytes would have been sufficient to save everything.
  13. Thank you for the tip! For some reason I didn't notice the fastener holding it on. It's a strange joystick design with how the joystick contact points work.
  14. I have two grey launch joysticks that have the detachable atari 2600 shaped joystick plugs. I can't figure out how to remove the metal stick and the spring holding the pcb down to the plastic shell after i remove the bottom shell screws. It looks like it held on by something. Thank you for your help.
  15. Thanks this worked! Now the only problem I'm experiencing is when I accidentally push left or right on the joystick on the menu screen, it causes the flash cart to reboot. Both my flash cart and odyssey system have no issues playing games so I wonder why it can't handle a left or right input?
  16. The only game I know for sure that did not have it is Cybermorph. Some fighting game also did not have it.
  17. The purpose of this thread is for documentation only (not sure where you got the idea that I would be making bootlegs). Also it's interesting to make a note of which games did not included any form of on-cart saving like Cybermorphs. If the EEPROM was cheap to include, why was it absent in some games?
  18. Mine just came in the mail! It was a surprise because the status was frozen in Europe for two weeks passing customs. Somehow the shipping never got updated. I can't find a English manual or instructions on how to use the sd cart. I created a folder in the root directory called games but I cannot select the games there by using the joystick. I have to manually select a game by using the buttons on the cart. It would be nice if there was a way to select games when powered on with an onscreen menu by using a joystick.
  19. [I will update this list as I find more games that have a save feature] Here is the current list of Jaguar games that have 128 byte EEPROM saves: Alien Vs Predator Atari Karts Cannon Fodder Doom Pinball fantasies NBA Jam Power Drive Rayman Towers II (may actually use more than 128 bytes of EEPROM)
  20. Awesome! Glad that a new ODE is in development. I'll check out their discord if they let people join.
  21. Looks very sharp! I'm guessing there is no audio hum/noise?
  22. Will the jaguar be able to run Tomb Raider as well as the 3DO? I thought both systems are similar in power.
  23. I see a few options for scart cables on ebay but I'm not sure how susceptible they are to noise interference. I would rather get a scart cable that plugs into the Jaguar's unique AC port instead of getting an adapter for something like the Genesis. What's the best scart cable that plugs into the AV slot (and is not an adapter to Genesis or SNES)?
