  1. Oh well it's not a deal breaker. Do you know how safe it would be to power a jaguar on and off remotely with a switch?
  2. Also 128 bytes is tiny! That would save only basic level or stage progress. I wonder if the towers game used a higher save capacity?
  3. Thank you for the info! Not all Jaguar games support saving (i.e. Cybermorph doesn't save), so I was wondering where o could find a list of games that have a save feature? It's nice to have these sort of things documented.
  4. Does the Jaguar hardware allow for an IGR (in game reset) or reset to menu? I'm currently using a remote power switch to turn the Jaguar on and off but I'm not sure if this will damage my system in the long run.
  5. Does anyone have a list somewhere of Jaguar games that have on-cartridge save support and the EEPROM save file sizes for each game?
  6. Probably just a matter of time at this point.
  7. Why does he only accept bitcoin? Also what is "launch ISO Images without RSA sign"? I'm asked whether or not I want this feature on checkout. Also reading this made me think that maybe it's just not worth ordering one at this point https://www.thedreamcastjunkyard.co.uk/2016/03/stone-age-gamer-drops-usb-gdrom.html?m=1 Also seems like a bad time to order anything from Russia or Ukraine because the on-going tensions may disrupt packages.
  8. Thanks for the link! Looks like it's possible to use a USB to sd card adapter as there is a sd card extension bracket for sale.
  9. How reliable would you say is using a usb flash drive over a normal USB hard drive?
  10. Is there a 3DO ODE that uses SD cards instead of USB drives? USB flash drives can be finicky so I'd prefer a SD card ODE for my FZ1.
  11. Ok thank you for the suggestions. Do you know how to tell if a Lynx model II has mono or stereo audio through the headphone port? I have two Rev A's and a early Rev 1. If the early Rev 1 has no stereo through the headphone port, is there a way to fix that? Same with the model 1 Lynx, is there a way to enable stereo audio?
  12. I got three broken Atari Lynx systems as part of of lot. None of them can play games. Two of the three systems have been worked on by a previous owner. It looks like new capacitors were added to those two systems. The third system was untouched by the previous owner. The two systems that were worked on both turn on but neither has game audio or shows anything on the screen besides the backlight. The third system that was untouched doesn't turn on at all. My question is would it be possible to assemble a working unit by taking parts and moving them between units? I read somewhere online that I would only need to replace the switching power mosfet chip for the system to turn on. Maybe all of them have bad chips but hopefully that isn't the case. Also I cleaned the ribbon cables, pin connectors, and everything else thoroughly. So cleaning won't solve anything. It won't let me embed the images from imgur. Here is the link: https://imgur.com/a/jdfRUrX Any help with this would be appreciated

    HOKEY demo

Has the Hokey been released yet?
  14. Good to know. What is the name of the adapter?
  15. Has there been any update on a potential flashcart or SD cart device for the Odyssey2?
  16. I wonder if it would be possible to port this to the 32x?
  17. You can replace a dead Bally ac adapter with a 12v 1 amp 12 watt adapter I am not sure if the polarity is negative or positive but I believe it's negative. No it will need to be 60hz in order for it to function.
  18. Also where can someone find replacement controllers? I can't find any online.
  19. Is there a list somewhere of 4 player compatible games? If not, maybe we can compile the 4 player games here. What are the best simultaneous 2 player games for the Bally Arcade? What are the best 4 player games for the Bally Arcade? Thanks!
  20. The Atari Jaguar has a massive community even thought it probably sold less than the Bally Arcade. Maybe it's because it's just too obscure at this point. Hopefully more people will become interested in developing homebrew for these systems. The problem with loading games by tape (even with the expansion white ram) is that the games are more limited because they are restricted by the Basic limitations (according to what I can see from videos online of extended ram games). The homebrew Crazy Climber is an excellent game that shows off what the Bally is capable of. Is it possible to have the base hardware take advantage of the extended white ram cart without requiring it to run the limited Bally basic program?
  21. I believe a double sticker unit means it was refurbished.
  22. Is that a Sears heavy sixer unit? It must have been released late in the life cycle if it is a V.
