I have a TP-10, and a stand alone RS-232 would be simple and quick to move to another console.

I was thinking the same thing, and that would be a fun project. I’ll bet someone already thought about adding RS-232 to TIPI, or doing a TIPI like design for serial, but if it were easy, it would be done by now. Maybe thats the next project. Glad you liked my ideal. Remember that TI made stand alone RS232, may have had a PIO too. I remember Some one made a interface card that plugged into the side of the console and you could plug your rs232 card or ti Disk controller or 32k card, alas it could only use one card. maybe it would help you And again yes I would like one !

want to print from my TI, list programs etc. So do I need an old printer or can I use a usb prnter?

How do you load these into classic99 ?

I remember back that there was a mod for the TI keyboard that added a FCTN key on the left by the A key. I made that to mine. Can't remember How I did it.

I'm still new at this stuff, the last cart I bought way back was Super Extended Basic. So How can I get this Extended Basic 2.7 GEM ?

Okay, got to work it into my present setup.

I have that style keyboard and the keys do come off very easy.

I just got a PEB unit, and it came in good shape. As for your unit I can only guess the force used to inflict such damage!... These boxes are tough and can a lot of abuse. But, it had to be really battered....even so I believe the unit will work.
