  1. I have tried to search to see if there is a similar post, but for my brief checks I haven’t found one.

    I’d like to see everyone’s display shelving and how they have it set up! I have a seperate room where my Intellivision(s) live and tubs of extras, but my display looks like this. It’s in my office and is in the background for teams meetings when I work from

    home. I am sure it’s relatively modest compared to some of you guys but I’m pretty happy with it. But if you have better ideas I’d like to see them!

  2. Dear Rev;

    I have been an Intellivision fan since 1982 (I was 6) and as an early adopter of technology I suffer from a lack of coordination. This of course has been a continual theme all my life which has resulted in trauma from not being seen as the correct choice, or generally the last choice in school group sports. I see in this game a unique opportunity to change my lot in life. I am convinced I can turn my life around, at the tender age of 47, by using this software to hone my skills - becoming more accurate at throwing objects. This in turn will make me more popular and allow me to finally be picked for dodgeball. I can then invite my new friends over to show them my Intellivision which will allow me to play Utopia with more than one person.

    Respectfully yours;

    Anthony

    Because they come with different power bricks. What is weird I bought an Atari 2609 modded for AV from Australia, but it still works here with the usual Atari 2600 power brick? 🤷‍♂️

    Hi Rickster;

    I’m an Aussie and use PAL and NTSC intellivisions. NTSC is preferable here because most late model CRTs have NTSC playback. You get full screen viewing on NTSC rather than a cropped pal screen.

    You say you have used an Atari 2600 from Australia using a 110v plug pack for a US 2600. Fine, should work. All they want is the stepped down voltage. Your monitor must have PAL output but you may find that the game plays at different speeds to your NTSC due to our PAL systems expecting 60 Hz instead of your 50 Hz.

    As for Inty, there are no plug packs so if you swap the internal transformer from an NTSC unit it should work - not at all as simple as a plug pack and not worth it at all as I would say I prefer the NTSC units.

    Awesome! I was watching that one. You got a great deal I think. Yay for stickers! For some reason the Draughts one is one of my favourite stickers for no particularly rational reason.

    Yep. I made a low offer and they responded with a counter that I immediately accepted. :) very happy with the deal!

  5. I received a Master Component today which I initially thought was broken but then noticed the background is at fault. Once I hit the pad a few times the games start.

    No text displays - no matter what. LTO flash works but you cannot see what you are doing. Hit buttons a few times and the programs load. Attached is a photo of Ms Night Stalker running. First photo is the opening screen and the second is the gameplay.

    GROM?

    Thanks in advance - plenty of parts machines to swap components with.
