  1. Got a red power LED and channel switch on the RF modulator, so it's NTSC. I also checked out the capacitors, and they look fine (no bulging or leaking) so I'm going to assume they're ok. Looks like this system has just about had it. It's a shame too because it's in perfect cosmetic condition, looks like it's never even been used. Oh well, I'll spring for a new one on Ebay. Thanks for the help.
  2. It's gotta be NTSC. Works with american power supply and everything.
  3. I appreciate the help, maybe I'll take a look at those capacitors and see if they're bad. I have not tried a SCART cable since I don't have a monitor to use it on. But it has to be a problem internally in the Jaguar since I've tried multiple cables/RF switches and televisions. Do you happen to have the schematic for the layout of the Jag board? It would be great if you could post some of it on here.
  4. Any idea where the video generator area is?
  5. Yep, i tried 2 TV's, 2RF switches, 2 power supplies, and an A/V composite cable. The picture still blinks like every second. If nobody else has any idea, I'm going to get a new one.
  6. OK, I got the AV cable, and it didn't fix the problem. I'm pretty sure it's power related. Any other suggestions?
  7. Yeah i know there's an AV cable availabe for it, but I'm thinking the problem is power-related, not picture output related. Does anybody know for sure if an AV cable would fix the problem??
  8. Well i justgot an atari jaguar system yesterday but there seems to be a major problem with it. The picture on the TV keeps blinking about every second or so when I'm playing it. The whole picture doesn't blink, it's more like only the reds and blues blink. I tried a different RF switch and power supply, but still no luck. Anybody got any suggestions??
