hi everyone,
again another 5200 controller question.
i want to make a custom controller (using happ parts ,etc) with a bunch of buttons that emulate the keypad and a digital joystick.
the keypad and side buttons to a custom keypad is an easy fix, i have questions about the analog portion of the joystick.
now my question is this, i know that the analog controllers send back a resistance rather than an on or off signal to the system. i would like to know what the resistances are for full left, middle and full right so that i can use equivliant resistors in place of the solid ground when a particular direction is pointed on the digital stick..
now my other dilemma is that center position should return a middle resistance (becuase the analog controller sends a resistance back to the system at all times), but i am unsure how to send such a resistance back to the system if i have the digital joystick in the veritcal position because normally with a digital stick, the veritcal postion will send back no signals to the system because the circuit is full open.
so does anyone have any cool, or easy to build ideas on how i should send back the center resistance amount back to the system when the digital stick is in the full upright position which is not completing any other circuit and that will not interfere with the resistors for full left or full right?
thanks
bo
