  1. Hi, Here are some pictures of the "Dual Control" cable and how it connects to the controller
  2. That's what I'm going for but rather using 41464 chips to be smaller in size. One thing that bothers me is that there seeme to be a delay added on one signal (/EN80) for this board using the 74LS14, shall I include it also?
  3. Working on having this work on Apple 2e also: The setup is generating too much noise (cables are too long and I'm using an intermediate breadboard for connection) and I need to switch from HC to HCT components (HCT was the primary choice for the Apple2c version also but due to component shortage I couldn't find enough components in HCT tenchnology) Next step would be to build a 64kb/80Col card with embedded RGB adapter, it should fit. Is anyone aware of a modern, open source, 80col card schematic?
  4. You got it, « Dual Action » extension. You need to remove the dongle seen on the picture and connect a cable that also connects to the second port on the console.
  5. We were waiting for questions around this. Let's play a bit, the first one guessing what it is for will get a free accessory with his controller (that already a hint).
  6. Yes they are flush once pressed, the travel is 0.25mm or so.
  7. You're welcome, no special skills required we will train you on the job
  8. We will have 2 kits, one with and one without. We will also ask you the mix through PM before finalizing the order.
  9. Yes this is confusing, I admit. Original design is with disc on Left side like any modern game pad usually designed for right handed persons. The alternative design is with disc on right. To avoid confusion we will call them “disc on left” and “disc on right” versions.
  10. We will do a batch of left handed controllers there’s enough interest. Design is also done for the pcb and the 3D parts.
  11. The project is available here : https://oshwlab.com/yannick.erb/apple-iic-to-rgb_copy I have some equipped PCBs left that can be purchased from me. I also propose to build the full SCART cable with 3D printed case. Shipment for the cable to US might be quite high (it's around 250g)
  12. We have 2 in our list for you, its not yet uploaded here.
  13. They are at least 2 parts that require some printing tricks 1. filament change or dual extruders for the keypad 2. Inclusion of a connector during a print pause We have to discuss this solution between us.
  14. We didn't update yet with latests posts. In any case we will recontact each of you for exact content when time will come.
  15. There’s no secret you can count in this thread. We are above 300
  16. Answering to this thread is putting you at the bottom of the already long list (and no the last ones will not be served first, sorry ) We are evaluating possibilities to produce faster, but we are only a small team and have real jobs beside this. We will keep you updated of the progress, we are at the moment concentrating on having a first batch finalised.
  17. Frankly the overlays are stiff enough not to bend and the cable coming out bellow prevents from putting the controller in such a position that would bend it.
  18. We are thinking about adding a pair of those in the package for an additional 25€ fee. They will of course be specifically designed for this purpose!
  19. The overlay is not sliding out, it is retained by the holder
  20. That's the exact purpose for selecting this color, aging will have no effect! More seriously, we've made several color tests and tried to match Inty 1 colors. We didn't find anything suitable. The selected color scheme was made between us, our target was to be in the late 70s color scheme, like the Inty 1. You do not see it well in the pictures but the base is dark brown.
  21. We need to provide more information about our proposal. There will be 2 bundles, the first one, a bit more expensive, includes a db9 adapter for intv 1 & 3 It allows to continue using the original controller in parallel to the new ones. To install it you do not need more than a screwdriver and it is totally reversible. edit : of course the db9 connector pin out is the same as Intv 2 or Sears consoles.
