I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly for me. Thank you for making it easy.

I've had the VCS for a couple weeks now and have only purchased Vault 2. The game appealing the most to me right now is Supermash. I like the idea of a bit of RPG with side challenges and goal chasing. Is anyone else enjoying this game?

I have a spare Black Walnut Bundle for sale. I have not opened it nor have I removed the plastic bag. Ships from 50325. I realize I will have to sell under retail to let someone recoup shipping costs and realize a bit of savings so I am prepared for that. PM me if you have interest and we can figure out something fair.

Just curious. I have a working Jag, but I think a spare would be wise at this point.
I agree, you don't see them every day. I put the repairable one on Mercari this morning because the repair is over my head and already got an offer of $160 so I didn't get hurt too bad.

What's the definition of a cheap Jag these days?
I paid $210 for a console only. I had no problems selling a spare I had(a couple months ago) for $400 w/ two controllers, hookups and cybermorph. Atari is still hot. I sold 3 extra flashbacks for $15 each, a 4 switch full set up w/ six games for $60 and a light sixer sears full setup w/ six games for $100 at my neighbors garage sale this weekend. I wish I would have put together more.

Took a chance on a cheap jag on Mercari and it works great. Gamedrive worked perfectly in it. Thanks for the help.

Finally got a tracking number for mine. It is irritating that you ordered yours in February and received it before my September order. I'll get over it once it is in my hands but for now I'll just sit here and be bitter.

I ordered a new cart port and new caps. I found a local person who is very familiar with microsoldering and will do the replacement for me. Wish me luck.

I would contact them ASAP. I just ordered one for my sister three weeks ago and it arrives at her doorstep tomorrow. Sounds like they lost your order or it didn't go through somehow.
Was it black walnut? They say my order is valid but still in queue for shipping.

I ordered mine in September and they still haven't shipped it. Now I feel I won't get it any sooner than people ordering on the 15th. Atari will have had my money for 9 months and the new orders will have a free hat. Irritating.

Well, I think I got too aggressive with the cleaning and now my power light will come on with or without a cart in place but nothing happens beyond that. The screen doesn't even flicker when I hit the power button. I'm getting 8.4 volts coming from the jag voltage adapter. I'm guessing I got something jammed in a pin or damaged one. Is there a recommended repair house? I'm ready for pro help at this point. These Jags are a little more complex than the 2600's
-
OK, Are the pins adequately cleaned while in place or is it better to open up the unit? I saw the map of pins on another post, I'll clean those again. I'm going to get another power supply as well as this one is not 100% reliable and gets pretty hot

I cleaned the cartridge slot thoroughly. I can get this screen to come up once when the system is first turned on but it freezes when I select any game. When I turn the Jaguar off and back on to get rid of this screen it will only give me the red screen or the HQ screen until I wait an hour or so and start over. Could it be a power supply issue or something heating up inside the Jaguar?

I think the plastic I used was too thin. I'll cut up one of my wife's credit cards tonight and solve two issues at once.

OK I will clean it again tonight thoroughly. I use 99.9% isopropyl, is there anything better to use?

I received my GameDrive and can't get it working.
Typically when I first turn it on I get the Retro HQ screen. If I do nothing the "option" feature disappears after a few seconds and the screen stays on just the logo. If I press option it shows that I have the 10.1 version. I have to power off at either point as no buttons have any effect
When I repower after the first time I get the red hollow Jaguar screen.
My Jaguar is working with regular games as shown in pics 3 and 4
Pic 5 is a top view of the slot which I have cleaned with a cart and with a cut to size plastic slider and contact cleaner
Pic six is the card files which came preloaded on the card. I also deleted them and reloaded them from the free download that came with the cart
Twice I have turned on the cart and it came up with a screen that showed these games but I haven't been able to make it happen again. When I selected a game the download box appeared and the screen froze with zero progress
I have not tested the power supply yet and sometime have to wiggle the power cord to get power to the system. I have a 9v 2500ma power supply that I might try if anyone thinks it could be that.
Any suggestions?

@DidSomeoneSayAtari? That is definitely better than you would have done here - even if things had started out a little different.
It was a good learning experience. I ended up buying a second Jaguar at a bargain price right after I bought this one. Once I clean it up and pair it with a game I should be able to make enough to break even on the whole thing.

Looking for 8 bit bundle
in Wanted
Posted
I have recently acquired a XEGS(my first 8 bit Atari keyboard item) and am looking for a bulk bundle of carts. I have 5 XEGS labeled games so far and am looking for more of those plus any other 8 bit carts that will work. Does anyone have a bunch of duplicate commons they'd like to bundle and sell to an 8 bit newbie. The games I have are Bugs, Flight Simulator, Gato, Bluemax and Thunderfox.
