Thanks but that seller doesn't ship to Canada :(

That's unfortunate. I'd be willing to ship it to you at cost once it reached me if you are interested. I'm in western US so if you are in western Canada, it won't be too bad. If you are in eastern Canada, you may as well buy a brand new one. lol

I'd send you mine and order another one, but I've already done work to it. It worked out of the package, but it was DIRTY.

Not sure what you are looking for in cost, but 15 really isn't a bad price.

OH I think I do have a SNES board that does not work. That one is yours for the cost of shipping alone if you want it. I just have to make sure I still have it. I will know in 4 hours.

  2. I bought 2 of these. One for me and one for my wife. They're pretty freaking awesome controllers.

My son and I went to the swap meet last weekend and I saw a guy selling a Wii and an Xbox 360 slim. He wanted 15 for the Wii and 10 for the 360. I decided against it until he said "take em both for $10" so I did. They both work, but are dusty.

  3. @Adamj91

Did you try switching channels? Just because the Sega worked on what, channel 4? Doesn't mean that Jag is the same. Change between channels 2, 3,and 4 to see if anything shows up.

My RF looks like complete ass, but the comp and SVideo are great, like everyone else mentioned

  4. Bump. Desperately in need of a parts GameCube. I have a cube that's missing the bottom metal shield. Not sure how it went missing but I could use one right now. If you have that part for some reason, or have a spare, even busted up, trash cube, please let me know.

I can buy the shield alone for $12 on eBay but I'm hoping someone here has one, or a console they no longer want.

Nice!!!  Welcome to the club! (Or did you have one already?). This is one of my favorite systems, if not my favorite. The homebrews that have become available are simply amazing.

Hmmm. I've never recapped mine. Is this a thing for this system?  I just had this done to a Game Gear and a 32x that were both non-working from bad caps.  Is a non-recapped Jaguar a time bomb?

    Thanks!

It's absolutely a new one for me. I've always wanted one though.

When the wrong PSU is used, it blows 2 chips and 2 caps for sure. I didn't have a game to test at first so I just recapped the whole thing while I waited. I figured it was worth doing since 2 were absolutely toast. I thought maybe the rest had a chance to fail due to that overload. I haven't looked around enough to see anything about them being the only reason the console won't boot though.

  6. Oh man this was great. These cross stitched pictures will make absolutely perfect wall art. These are the best part of this gift.

Everything about this was amazing. Including the candle that is not vanilla 🤣. Nice touch.

The wireless Sega Genesis controller will have plenty of use. I've been eyeballing these and others like it for some time now.

There are gummy bears and a 3 musketeers. My favorites!

There are also some cool puzzle piece 3d things. It's like a build your own thing.

Zelda 2, The Adventures of Link and Startropics will be played later this week when I get a chance.

Omfg Zelda music! These are amazing and will be played the next time I'm in my car (with the only CD player I currently own and trust) oh wait I could probably play them in the Xbox. Hmm. Either way THANK YOU @HoshiChiri

Hot Wheels Batman car is legit too. There are also some 3d printed rupees and those are cool as heck. This totally perfect condition link's awakening is awesome. You really hit the spot with these gifts.

The Mrs. Thanks you as well for the PokeBall and Pikachu. Thank you for helping me out with the bonus points. It's how I keep her from getting mad at me for participating in an online gift exchange 🤣.

For years I have tried to remember the game where you drove a car and jumped to collect items, while avoiding bricks and the like. It happens to be Private Eye! Childhood memories came flooding back when I played it again. These gifts mean so much to me. Plus, I received a game I remember fondly by memory only as a kid, but not by name. You helped me end the quest for that game! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now its time to snack on the goodies you sent, especially that homemade fudge. Yum! 😁

These 2 comments brought me a happy tear. Thank you. I guess some things are just meant to be. I am glad I could help you relive some happy memories.

Also glad you weren't too late to the party.

    Hey Secret Santa!

The Post Office did mishandle the box

I love my gifts! All of them! However, the Post Office must have been brutal on delivering this package - because the dissected Coleco Joystick you sent - is in pieces.

The homemade fudge is incredible too. I was surprised to see those Atari 2600 cartridges; some are not easy to find.

I love those Star Wars collectable Pez candy dispensers!

Plus the T-shirt; you have incredible taste as a Secret Santa. ☺️ The Post Office disappointed me, though. It looks like their employees played football with the package. 😡 Luckily, everything else arrived safe and sound.

Thank you again for everything! Merry Christmas to you and yours. ☺️

Uggghhhhhhh. I guess at least the frame is still in tact.

This is what it was supposed to look like:

😍The Secret Santa package finally arrived! It’s heavy to carry, too.

    It’s a big’un that’s for sure.

Once I finish my errands for the day, I’ll tear into the package and share its contents with the thread!

Oh dang. I see why they were giving you the runaround. They didn't want you to see the mishandling of that box. Hopefully everything inside is in tact.

Recently picked up a non working Vader unit and it is using the PS I use for my modded and working 4S woody, Vader doesn’t have show any voltage at the regulator, I had extra new main cap and VR and changed those out for the heck of it and no change.  What’s the proper next diagnostic steps in terms of what to check with my meter?  Thanks!

The solder on the power jack looks kinda weak. Might want to add some solder (or remove all the old and replace) with flux to make it flow.

If you have zero volts at your voltage regulator, but the PSU is known to work, you have a bad connection to the board. Check voltage at the power jack. It may also be rusty.

Also looks like that RF mod might be junk. It's pretty fugly at the base.

  11. Good ol post office. I am surprised you were able to speak to anyone at all. At least you know it's around somewhere. My favorite thing is when I know a package is with the post office but it says "waiting on confirmation from carrier" up until the day it is to be delivered. poof all the sudden "delivered" shows up.

  12. My secret Santa package arrived last night! Well some time yesterday and I grabbed it last night. I only thought it might be my secret Santa based on the Happy a Holidays sticker. I went to open it because I've ordered a ton of stuff online for various reasons and forgot a bunch of it. When I opened it, I saw there was a card and a bunch of candy inside. I closed it right away. I want to open it on Christmas when my family opens theirs. I don't get a bunch of stuff for Christmas like they do, so I have something to open with them. I also enjoy a good surprise.

    Thank you, secret Santa!
