Intellivision Purchases and Deals

That one has been up for quite a while. Looks discolored to me.
-
Not an easy one to get. They pop up here and there, but usually way too pricey.

I used to drive from Orange County to Torrance to go to the INTV office to pick up games since I was in LA going to shows all the time. It was such a tiny, modest place. I got Spiker and everything else there directly. And then I turned around years later and sold everything I had back in '93 for $250. All 125, ECS, changer, keyboard, all of it. Heavy sigh...

Fathom comes up quite a bit. I've seen it as low as 75 boxed, so good choice to wait. There are plenty out there.

It's my go-to site for variants as well.
-
I have those same different basketball and poker ones as well. They're different than a dye lot changing mid-production. They seem, to me at least, like legit differences. There is quite a bit of variant stuff (and obvious ones) missing on INTV Funhouse. I've tried to send pics and contact them, but to no avail.

Use anything you can. Every platform has its drawbacks and benefits. Remember that even if you come across something on your list not in great shape, get it. You can always upgrade and use the lower quality one for trade or sale. Rely on this forum, it vcan help greatly, there are good people in here that are always on your side.

My Sears Basketball has the same correction only partially done and in ballpoint.

Auction can't be seen, was it a manual or a boxed copy?
-
Hey its still a great score. Overall there was 2 in there I didn't have, but if I had the cash I'd gladly have forked it over. No problem in flipping the rest.

Not a homebrew collector but there's no way I can turn this down. I am in!

I did! At first, I got the listing for the unit and the 31 games, but it was pulled right when I went to get it. Immediately after it was yanked, the Congo Bongo was listed separately. So I just got the one game, which is more than fine, I didn't need any of the others anyway. Stoked to get it at a more than decent price. -

Went nuts and got myself Congo Bongo as an x-mas gift for me. -

That's a great price. You're still under market value and if what you don't need is pieced out, you'll wind up in great shape. Good job!
-
If it shows up - count me in.

Only looked at them compared to each other (Chess and Backgammon), but looking at them against Reversi, they sho am shorter. And last night got one of the 2 Super Pro Decathlons lurking out there. -

I don't even see the II Backgammon in that lot, just that standard Mattel one. -

They all look beautiful, just don't have that kind of cash to pull any of those off. -

I wish I was that far long. Still need quite a bit of stuff to get to that little left to get. Not counting variations or whatever I'm still looking for: Intellivision, Inc. Super Series INTV Mountain Madness: Super Pro Skiing Super Pro Decathlon Learning Fun 2 Spiker Stadium Mud Buggies Sears Backgammon Hockey Coleco Turbo Imagic Fathom (Box Only) Parker Brothers Super Cobra Tutankham Sega Congo Bongo Not too bad, and most of the typical tough to get stuff, but now it gets way more difficult to not destroy finances in order to get these. I'm hoping I get lucky with something, prices drop a bit or I can find a trade somewhere to get stuff. -

Oh I get the addiction fully. For me, I stick with the US release titles and all CIB. It just makes it somewhat easier to deal with. -

Morpheus - for me if there's no box I'm not looking for it. So luckily those other II titles I'm not actively looking for. Now, if one or two roll my way, I'm sure I'll be screwed and add those in. I got stupid lucky finding an II Backgammon early on. Sometimes I've got good timing... sometimes.
