To me the problem is not the pre-order, is a new thread to announce a game, then another one to pre-order, then another one to release the game.

If this is true, this will mean three stores gone from our local mall in a month's time. JcPenny, Radio Shack, and Game Stop. Also means the nice one in town will be gone as well. The United States, such a wonderful place...

Companies making poor decisions is more like it. Radio Shack has been on the ropes for years and years. JC Penney shot themselves in the foot and hardly recovered from their "low regular price" business model and LameStop... good riddance. Can't stand their stores or general business model either. They too have been on a downward spriral for years.

And yet the executives from those companies will deploy their golden parachutes and continue to fail upward.

Agree. It started dawning on me last year. Just really tired of it all. Realized I have no respect or care for anyone in the game (announcers, players,owners, coaches etc.). Nobody. It's sad I never thought I'd feel this way. Founders rolling in their graves...

Are you talking about the "Console Companion?"  I use a different app - the XBox beta app all the time to get to gamepass.

Yeah that's the one I'm not using console companion anymore 'cause they're getting rid of it. Since I don't have gamepass it's pretty useless for me. ?

Unfortunately, in the era of the internet, spoilers are unavoidable unless you simply stop reading everything. On the other hand, most of what people post is wrong anyway, so you might as well ignore them.

Not being a jerk, but being from the original SW generation it is a story best left to rest. There is no joy for me watching Luke fall to the dark side no matter the reasons. It makes Jedi a moot point. I don't want to see my childhood heroes fail. He looked evil in the eye on the 2nd DS, spit in in its eye and not only that redeemed his father. I think JJ has played too much of the DLC from The Force Unleashed. Luke's failure there was shocking as was Dark Empire even if it were...

Yup. I am hunting and pecking for deals on "complete" versions of Injustice or Tekken 7; both have enough DLC to cost more than the games themselves it seems. And even apart from the cost, I agree fully, just give me all the things that should be in the game. Not a partial game.

Pretty sure you can still buy complete games. Even disc based-ones.

It was great, when I think about it now it was pretty revolutionary. Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Parasite Eve, Crash Bandicoot etc. Played the crap out of it, almost everybody I knew had one and a lot of them bought it for Final Fantasy 7. I'm done with modern consoles for the most part too.
