I am an adult educator, originally a Biology major, not an electronics engineer, but yes, I'm a geek and proud of it! obviously. I love music, food, movies, food, computers & Internet, food, sci-fi and poetry, food, science, food, camping (actually "glamping"), food, mountain biking, food, kayaking, and did I mention food?  

I started in computing with a Timex Sinclair back then in the murky 80's, then moved on to an Atari 800XL, and afterwards to an Atari 520ST.

After so many years of trodding in the pissy (get it?) world, I am trying to get back into coolness by assembling a little collection of those three computers, in full working order. So now I possess an 800XL, now with Ultimate 1Mb upgrade (Awesome!), a SD-Max floppy emulator (another must have), and soon with an UAV upgrade. An 1040STF, with an UltraSATAn hard disk emulator, a GoTek FD emulator, and soon to have a 4Mb upgrade (from exxos).  The Timex Sinclair 1500 awaits its turn, will also get a FD/tape emulator.
