I agree with that. Also if you start with 3 magic spells and run a lot of magic that generation, I centered on Mana and Intelligence.

I got about 10 hours into it so far and finally saved up over 1000 gold. Still only 1 crown found though. But i can buy enough elixers and potions to get to higher levels now.

Any updates on this project? If you look on the Sega threads they got Jag Doom implemented into the 32X now. Just wondered if this project was still coming along on the Jag.

What stats are people running? I keep using Toughness, to hit bonus, and Search.

I figured it out just fine by the time he came on. Besides the sense of wonder and discovery was heightened by not reading it. And I was hoping others would chime in with their discoveries as they find them.

Oh wow. I kept spending all my gold everytime. I can just grind for gold! Geez I don't know how I missed that.

Darn it I was excited to see a new enemy. Don't fight trolls only wearing leather armor. A good note, brought my score up to 1704.

Im on my 4th map. I must have missed crowns on the others. Is there 1 crown on each map level or can there be more than 1 per map I wonder? I see I can go back to each previous one through the teleporters. But then there's the food issue again by backtracking...

Finally found 1 crown.

A little better after an hour. I just kept dying and restarting until I got a map to generate with decent starting resources. Brought my score up to 215 from 60's.

So when you buy food from the shop it appears to be random like everything else is? So far I either find gold to buy food or no gold and not enough food generates to keep me going.

I have Zaku. But there are a lot of people who don't and would find a lot of enjoyment playing these games if they were released again.

Thats great! I noticed that with a couple earlier releases too and saw your videos. Kind of like the old press copies for Gamepro or Gamefan right before a release. Cool.

Yeah not for a grand. But would like to own this physical too. I found Zaku recently on EBid for 150 and grabbed it up but no luck with R&V anywhere close to that price range.
