Maybe it's just me, but I would have loved to have seen Graham Gooch Cricket come out on the Jaguar. I'm an American, and definitely didn't grow up with Cricket, but my brother and I love sports games. We got a copy of International Cricket for the NES once, and we literally taught ourselves the rules just so we could play it. It's a fun game and makes for a good competitive 2-player game (I think of it like baseball, if there are only 2 bases and the infield is in the center of an oval shaped outfield). If it is ever found and released, it will be in regular rotation on my Jag. And to answer the original question, the target audience for Graham Gooch would definitely have been the UK and Australia. Most cricket games released on other consoles get released there.

I do like a good co-op puzzle game. Keep the VCS goodness coming.

This looks awesome. I have been itching for another VCS local competitive multiplayer game (Pixel Cup is my go-to game right now). This death match mode is going to rock. Day 1 purchase for me.

I have neither the equipment nor know-how to do it myself, but I had had the same thought. I feel like there would be some interest in this if it got made.

You rock CJ. Thanks for this. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration - (in VCS Store)
RollOut replied to SabertoothRetro's topic in Atari VCS
I have the same experience. I've used mine for PC games (through Windows) and I have definitely downloaded bigger files than Atari 50 via WiFi, with no issues. Also, Atari 50 downloaded fine for me once I was able to get into the store (that took 2 or 3 tries, but nothing major). -
As @davpa pointed out, Kombinera is a great new IP from Atari. It was simultaneously new and also "on brand" as an Atari game. More titles like that will be fun to see in the future (not that I haven't also been loving the "nostalgia titles").

The Fishing Frenzy demo looks like fun. That is a top 3 2600 game for me, so I'd love to see a jag update.

I've only had the chance to play a few minutes, but I'm loving this one. It scratches my "run n gun" on the VCS itch.

I had this happen once. I ended up emailing customer support for Atari, and they had it sorted out in a few hours. support@atari.com

Hey Davpa. Thanks a lot for reaching out. It's great to see Atari pushing some continued support for the VCS. I'm happy to hear that you guys are on the job troubleshooting old issues, and securing new releases. On a side note, I'm officially removing you from my "guy who gave me a wedgey in the 2nd grade" suspect list.

I agree with most of what has been said already. I used it as a console regularly. The game library is limited (still has ongoing releases), and has few exclusives, but I've found most are really good indie fare. Also, the games that make good use of the classic controller are awesome (it's the definitive way to play those games in my opinion). I also regularly use it as a mini gaming PC. It's been able to handle the steam games that I've thrown at it so far. I am planning on installing extra RAM to really get the most out of it. I have been very satisfied with it myself.

That's awesome. Best of luck with the new project, and thanks for feeding the Jaguar.

Project Orbit - New VCS Game from BPM Boy developer
RollOut replied to Tony Barnes's topic in Atari VCS
By Xmas, that's awesome. This looks great so far. Can't wait -
I believe he said in one of his earlier videos that he was planning on porting over the 10 games that are currently on the Switch. Residual is on that list, but I don't think Ashworld is.

There are no jaguar games available for the new VCS system just yet, but the new Atari 50 collection will contain 9 Jag titles among its collection of games. This release is currently delayed for the VCS, but should be out soon. This will be the first time many of these jag games were ported outside the original console. To the best of my knowledge there are no jag cd games yet. IS 1 and 2 and Battlemorph are not on offer at this time.

I thought Baldies worked too, but I might be wrong about that (it's been a while since I looked into this). It's definitely Project Tempest though, no one else has CD support to the best of my knowledge.

Yup, that was my experience
