  1. I beat it a few months back. It is glitchy, but I had the most issues in the first city. Sometimes, entering a section of the city will cause the game to freeze. If that happened I would restart the game and take a different mission (so I could avoid that section). After playing through the mission and saving progress, I found the glitchy, off-limits area would suddenly be fine again. The game does have a grand scale, and it can be a lot of fun if you work around the couple of glitches. I would recommend it, and it's definitely beatable.
  2. Do you think code just grows on trees? Seriously though that's a cool offer. It's a bit of preaching to the converted in my case, as I already own Gravitar, and will buy 50th Celebration anyway, but the promo is appreciated anyway.
  3. This looks great. I'll have to update later today. Thanks for showing love to the VCS crowd.
  4. Yeah, these two have been my favorite recharged titles so far. Hopefully a sign of good things yet to come
  5. #26605 Mutazione. You reminded me that I wanted to buy this, @OBLIVION23
  6. The developer announced that it was releasing soon on his YouTube channel earlier today. Sure enough, there it is. I've only played it for a few minutes so far, but I am digging the vibe. Definitely different than most turn based games
  7. I strongly agree. That is an important property, that needs some love. I would also love to see it's successor, Solaris get some attention. Do we definitely know if Atari SA still owns these IPs?
  8. I am also a big fan. I agree with some of the reviewers who said it would have been nice to have had more variety in objectives in the mission/ challenge mode (like some of the previous Recharged entries), but this is a small gripe. The gameplay is a lot of fun with the classic controller, and it definitely has that addictive, "just one more time" quality. On balance, I think this one is just behind Gravitar (my number 1 so far) for me.
  9. Now that's a rant. Bravo @THX-1138, I think you got it all.

I do love myself a good point and click adventure. I'm excited to see if this is close to release.
  11. That looks really cool. I may have misunderstood, @42bs, is this part of a project you are working on, in more like a stand alone proof of concept?
  12. Please see my original post about this post being, "perfect for unsubstantiated rumors".
  13. Thanks for the new review @Mockduck. I'm always impressed how quickly you turnout these short, but really well made and informative videos. I've only played this for a few minutes, but I'm a fan so far. I can see sinking a decent amount of time into this one. Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come from Orange Pixel.
  14. I'm hoping for good things. I like that the classic controller is a priority for this port.
  15. That's awesome. I'm glad you guys are looking into this. Physical is awesome (and I would still go that way for some carts), but also having digital available would probably allow myself and others to take a chance on games we weren't sure about.
  16. This is pretty awesome. I did a little digging around the games that Orange Pixel released on other platforms, and a few seem really interesting. It's very cool to see developers saying that they will support the VCS with ports in the future. Here's hoping we get all 10 of these new games.
  17. I am firmly pro number pad. The video game industry has gone steadily down hill since the controllers stopped looking like alien space phones.
  18. Oooo! Nebulous "new hardware" announcement. This is perfect for unsubstantiated rumors. I believe it will be a VCS 800 Super Charger that will allow us to play graphically superior games stored on magnetic tape, provided that we hook the system up to a cassette deck via USB. Seriously though, I excited to see what comes of this announcement.
  19. Thanks guys. I'm going to play around with this when I get some free time (I might have some really dumb follow up questions). I appreciate the direction.
  20. Hey guys. Sorry in advance if this is obvious, bear with me, I'm not a programmer. I was looking to create/ edit a few BPEG images for a project I was working on. I have a pretty rudimentary knowledge of what is needed to do this, and I have heard that there is a BPEG converter (possibly compressor and/or editor) that exists, but must be run through DosBox. I can't seem to find where (or if) this program is available. Any direction on where to find it, or how to use it is appreciated. Thanks
  21. It's a matter of perspective I suppose. True, the prices are quite high but the indie/ homebrew scene is really stepping up the game with recent releases over the past few years. Some might say it's a great time to take up Jag collecting with all the great new content (if you can afford it of course).
