  1. Obviously, people aren't gonna force you to pay 30-40 dollars for a ROM. It's not a box with manual and cartridge lmao
  2. I'm happy to see this will be a thing (hopefully) soon. I don't have any Atari consoles, especially since they're hard to come by in Europe, so it would be amazing to buy a ROM and load it up on an emulator
  3. ZylonBane acting like a toxic twat? Nothing new to see her
  4. I know jack shit about programming, sadly. I don't think messaging him will be of any help lol
  5. Good morning, guys. I've recently tried Zippy on emulator after all those years, and I'm still amazed the Atari 2600 can handle such a game (Even if the wow factor waned somewhat). I've been wondering...does it use DPC, DPC+ or only the console's raw power? I've always been curious, but going by the audio alone I assume it's stock hardware
  6. Alright, I've been a member of AA for what, two weeks? But I've noticed that some of the older members, especially programmers, always assault people who make threads like this. I know it got annoying real fast, but you should drop it too. It makes you kinda immature, you know? People won't stop asking if "x game" can be ported to the Atari 7800, even if you insult them or their mothers. So just let it goddamn slide. Thanks for coming to my TED talk
  7. Yeah, the Bally Astrocade was ahead for its time. But it had a tough life cycle as a whole
  8. Oh god, Professor Pac-Man is truly shite. It managed to hurt my ears and eyes when I played it some time ago. It doesn't even give you a dopamine rush like other Pac-Man games
  9. I've been playing Pac n Pal on MAME lately, and I wondered why there were no home ports -Even to those obscure Japanese computers, considering Namco's track record back in the day-. Is there any interest in bringing it to the Atari 7800? The game is apparently based on Super Pac Man, so it's probably possible to reuse some code from the fan-made A7800 port (Which I sadly don't own). I have a gut feeling one of the 320x240 modes would be required to keep the look of the original arcade game, but I can't say for sure
