  1. Oh my! Sounds like you and the team are really trying to make this thing as compatible as possible! Nice!
  2. I think Tempest was right. I've tried it on 3 different TVs and only one of them jumped. So yeah, some TVs work better than others when you're playing 2600. And I'm guessing that the snow is created by dirty switches. I can feel the grime and dirt mixing around when I select game variation 79 on Space Invaders Oh and carpecarne means "seize the meat" (although it would really be carpe carnem in latin...but that doesn't sound as good) Thanks for all the help! It's nice to hear my atari isn't messed up!
  3. UPDATE: OK, so I plugged the atari in a different TV, and Warlords works fine! Has anyone ever had issues with certain TVs? What even weirder is that the television acting up is rather new. Oh well, I least I've figured out what the problem is. That just leaves me with my last question: is it normal to get a split second of snow when you hit the Game Select/Reset switches? The BW/Color switch doesn't pose a problem.
  4. Hey everyone! First post and I have a big question. I just bought a 4-switcher off ebay, it seems to work fine with everything I've got except warlords. For some reason the screen keeps bouncing slightly whenever the ball hits an object. I tried it with Super Breakout seeing as it seems like a similar game and it was steady. The boucing is only a few scanlines, nothing major, the game is still playable, but it's really noticible. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, is it normal for the screen to get slightly snowy every time you hit the Game Select/Reset switches? Thanks for any answers! (BTW: here are my other games which work perfectly: Combat, Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Defender, Defender 2, Space Invaders, Adventure, Donkey Kong, Night Driver and yes Super Breakout)
