  1. A s.d slot would make a C.D drive redundant, and will be a safer way for developers to get new games out without worrying about piracy. ATARI 50 and BigPEmu proved there's still much interest in the Jaguar. If BigPEmu's scripting is used, then each game could have a preloaded 'HD remaster' patch. Off topic, but I'm hoping that we see a 7800+, and a Lynx+ too. All thoughts good, or bad, are welcome.
  2. If a $200-$25 cart-player, with mini-SD slot so that more games and emulators can be added, and contained support for wi-fi, modern V.R head-sets, bluetooth, and all the great features of BigPEmu, would you buy one. Yay or Nay?

  4. So; the Recharged Series turned-out to be quite successful, dude... Quantum, Caverns Of Mars, Yars, Gravitar, and more coming; ATARI really shouldn't have wasted their time, what with all their original and re-imagined games on the way too. Jaguar emulation? "You have got to be joking!", they said. "You'll never be able to play *every* Jaguar game, let alone use modern V.R head-sets, play online and lan, upscale to 1080p, and script the games to run correctly at high frame-rates, amongst other features." Winning!
  5. Now that the 2600+ is a thing, and lots of promising imformation is starting to circulate, maybe we *might* see a 7800 port of A.B.A.H.B after all ;). It's funny reading back through this thread.
  6. "Our solution for this was to make a multi-mapper that could handle the discrete hardware demands of almost any Atari 2600 game. The multi-mapper replaces five variations of three existing mappers, so we can manufacture one board rather than 15+. Now, we are able to make all of our games from a single PCB." 7. Right... I like the way you quoted my speculation; why did you get your panties in a twist over that comment? It's a 2600+, seeing as you're being pedantic. I would think it was junk if it was yet *another* lame 2600 variant, as most would agree. Do you work for ATARI? It's funny that it turned out to be a 2600/7800 player, as stated in my original post that got your panties in a knot. Possibly doesn't mean definately, no matter how much you want it to.
  8. @THX-1138 are you laughing because you've finally learned how to read?
  9. 2600 + to be precise. It's on the website, but there's no other info except a video of a ten-in-one cart being plugged-in. Hopefully the plus indicates 7800 games can be used, or it's just more 2600 junk from ATARI.
  10. I did state that it would play 2600/7800 carts, so I have no idea what you're even talking about. Stay Salty...
  11. It *might* be the Polymega Remix, or it might not be...
  12. At no point did I say it was the Polymega Remix, so don't get your panties in a twist. Since when has the word possibly ever been used to confirm anything as a concrete fact? Stay salty...
