"Untested" and "Condition unknown" are the key words here. It is quite clear that you knew with certainty that this was not only not working, but was basically scrap and had parts missing out of. If I bought a unit for spares and when it arrived all the useful bits had been nick'd out of it I'd be livid.

I got mine out of an old parts 810, didn't even know it was in there. Do you have a link? I think there's a few happy repros on ebay, but they may be a bit sketchy...
