  1. 3rd party vendors were getting ready for a product that got shelved for a while. They had investments in cart molds and were not about to spend more money on replacing them until enough sales occurred.
  2. replies vs non replies is a pickle. pretty much all responses to any project will be problems. you dont see many because your program doesn't suck. it doesn't suck so much that it has ran all other 2600 emulators out of the business. you can, and should do things on your own time and interest level. seriously no one should expect anything else.
  3. you sir are correct. thought i read every post but totally missed the ken approach reference.
  4. work your way up to the nuclear option. brush scrub and vacuum and see where you get.
  5. Kennedy approach had speech, and was 48K. I dont recall it stopping to talk
  6. in regard to the credit toll over , what kind of scores were seen on the ZPH session? 5mil 20? you could use hex leading digit and get 6x worth at least. or maybe some graphics table lookup as the leading digit. People could submit the screenshot (activision oldschool) and get the x symbol = 14 you kick ass
  7. Reading your post you say I got a TT, implying that is a new machine (to you) and that is where the problem is seen. Put it back in the machine you used when it worked and see if it still does. Unless im reading you wrong.
  8. somewhere, in the years worth of threads on here , there have been t/s walkthrus using a diag disk and a scope, (prob a DMM as well) . you definitely need a solid working drive before going anywhere.
  9. this stuff right here, guys helping each other out, is why I keep coming back to these forums.
  10. I had pulled up the manual and saw this was a 220V unit with euroconnector. Didnt know what that was until I found a reference to scart. cool novelties has this cable see if they will swap out the one you got https://coolnovelties.co.uk/coolnovelties/atari-st-video-cables/43-atari-ste-rgb-scart-video-cable-with-stereo-audio-0705693505428.html
  11. diamondback 3 is a drive image creator. atarimania has the dl for it
  12. try putting images in different order ie since pp image works put different images in that spot . rule out the images that way. Try getting pre split images to use. Try a chip programmer software for the image manipulation instead of windows.
  13. well try using msa 1st if the disk isnt protected . you can use progem or proreb if it is . if the protection is too much for them to make an image, youll probably need a hardware copier. How did you plan on getting the image off the ST over to a mac or win box? unless you have a floppy on them , and that would make them old machines indeed. MSA141.PRG UTILITY.7z
  14. i downloaded the image and in steem(sse) it shows image as 84 sectors but inside the emulator it shows 2-80-9 . I can see all the files but since I dont have any timeworks software to load the .img files i dont know if they are working. What ver of msa are you using for the image? I have jay 17 and 18 and the original msa ver 103 and 141. Maybe you could use proreb or progem to make an image. they had standard copy modes even though they were intended for protected stuff.
  15. yeah, probably not their 1st concern.
