    A Kickstarter for the MS-DOS game Acronia has just gone live. I will most certainly be throwing my hat in the ring. I thought the alpha preview was quite fun and I am looking forward to a complete game.

    That was actually a quote from @Turbo Laser Lynx. I was agreeing with them. It's not about being the best (completely subjective). You captured all of the elements of how a game would have looked back in those days and a ton of charm to go with it. It has an arcade & adventure quality about it that changes just enough each round to keep you coming back for more. Not everyone gets what makes a great game. You get it. Nice work!

    Absolutely love this! The sounds, the graphics are what I remember as a kid in the 80s. Question: Did the character leaving the castle out the gate, but going behind the outer wall afterwards get fixed or is that intended? Hard to tell from a 2D perspective.

    Picked up a fairly rare & unknown MS-DOS gaming keyboard (circa 1993). Never heard of the thing until a few months ago. It uses colorful game overlays much like the the early 1980s console controllers of the ColecoVision and Mattel Intellivision.     Just wanted to add this to my old topic from years ago. Absolutely worth the download and your time. BeamSlider (Beamrider remake) https://www.indiedb.com/games/beamslider (two versions for download) One of the best remakes I've come across and I somehow missed it back in 2014/2015 when it was released on IndieDB. Very well done and I love playing this version!
