  1. Any updates on this? Very curious to know what's going on.
  2. This has to be one of the best looking new releases for the Jaguar I've seen in a long time. Hope to see this for sale one day.
  3. Following up on this again. SainT was able to replace my Game Drive after discovering an issue. I'd like to point out that I either have a bad SD Card or there is some sort of issue formatting these on a Mac. Once I received the new Game Drive I tried out the same SD Card and continued to get the "Memory Card Unreadable" message. I finally picked up an identical SD Card, didn't format it on the Mac, just dumped the games on it and it worked fine. I've since removed this new card multiple times with no issues. Has anyone else had an issue with Mac formatting?
  4. This is absolutely amazing from what I've seen. Nice work keeping the fonts to a minimum as well.
  5. Are yours backwards too? It's definitely easier to put the lid back on when they are facing the wrong way, I wonder if they are getting switched when being worked on.
  6. Follow up on the Jaguar CD lid catch and hold issue (mechanism to hold the lid open). It turns out the small triangle-shaped tabs near the cartridge port are what is actually holding the lid open. That is, as long as they are facing the correct way. Mine of course, were backwards but after reviewing additional images I discovered the secret! These tabs slide into the lid arm holes which is super weird. Images of the tabs included.
  7. Also pointing out that if anyone is interested in purchasing an official version titled 'Company' digitized by font professionals you can purchase it from MyFonts. It was finally digitized from the original Letraset in 2012 and costs 26.00. (see the connection there?) The font is missing the alternate, rounded 'E' but does have the original 'Y' and 'Z' as we had no reference when creating this back in 2009 we ended up making this up based on what we thought it might look like. And a little history:
  8. JasperAK Okay, I see the problem. I didn't realize anyone was clicking on the original link from the first post since I added a new one further down. I went ahead and set up a redirect and this should be working now. Those 404 pages were set up for fun, there are several more of them if you keep reloading It's very helpful during meetings to lighten the mood when something breaks on the site unexpectedly. Thank you for helping me debug this btw.
  9. hahaha, that's the truth.
  10. Thank you so much for that. I thought that might be it but really it just seemed a little ridiculous to use this as a catching mechanism. I'll take another look tonight and thank you again.
  11. This is interesting, I've tried this in both instance. With 'www' and without 'www' and it's downloading on my end. I'm using Chrome currently. Is this still happening on your end? The http should be redirecting to https also. Not sure what you're seeing.
  12. Wanted to check to see if were able to get any images. Thanks
  13. In case anyone is looking for this font. The link should have been working for all of this time. Let me know if you have trouble. https://doc4design.com/free-dcdragonfire-font/
  14. That's interesting and thank you a million times for the image. Is the replacement lid from Best Electronics, and if so did you buy the entire top with lid or just the lid? I called them the other day and he asked me to try a few things first, which I did, but sadly nothing is helping. Super nice guy by the way. I opened the CD unit and it doesn't have that round plastic, white piece from your image. It didn't have hole through it either. Oddly enough I can't seem to figure out what would have ever been catching the lid to hold it it place and the left inside plastic doesn't have any latching mechanism or plastic catch that I can see. Nothing appears broken either. Any chance you can pop the lid off of yours and take a picture of what you're seeing? So we know there are lid variations at least. I have another unit on the way and I'll see what the story there is as well.
  15. I just picked up a a Jaguar CD and the lid opens but doesn't 'latch' to stay in the open position. I was about to open it up and take a look but I'm not sure what I'm looking for since all of these CD players are different. Does anyone have a picture of the inside lid latching mechanism? Very much appreciated. For example, in this image the lid is staying up on its own. Mine is currently flopping back down.
  16. Following up on this in case anyone else is having trouble. I've ruled out any Mac Fat/Fat32 formatting as I couldn't get the GD to recognize when formatted on a PC or either. We're both confident that the memory card socket has a bad connection. I attempted to reflow the solder but the part is so small I can barely see it (I'm working on getting a digital microscope for this type of thing) but in the end SainT was gracious enough to take a look for me.
  17. Thank you for the reply, and I'll respond via email. If there's anything I can share I'll add it later for others.
  18. I formatted a brand new SanDisk 32GB card as FAT32 on a Mac, added some games and now the card is unreadable with the message "Memory Card Unreadable" (I've done this multiple times now) I even tried 'SD Card Formatter' but nothing helps. Note that initially I just took the SD Card out of the package, added games, and it played fine. Sadly I only got one days worth of play before wanting to add more games and then seeing this message. Has anyone else had this problem and is it Mac related? Lastly, I just jiggled the SD Card for a second or two and the GD said something to the effect of "reading directory" and the "Memory Card Unreadable" message disappeared but it didn't display any files. Anyone have any ideas?
  19. Just following up on this if anyone is looking for the Cat Trax version of the Video Game Brain Videoplexer Six Pack. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115296925102?hash=item1ad83b75ae:g:NoAAAOSwsJ5iMSfI&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoJBXDkP1RE3arErQDu1xcJnKjbcMt3Gswi9PY0ByIX7Mpf7uZo%2F4dD3voyAKLVwRCAe0ntDl9v3XP8Bdfbl8pWnYXlTabNZm8eF9VO9ejGvjeCNZW18OA%2BoyqNmkEr1d%2FizQo67DsnejMmb3ePqYA0fOhszpa3qzL%2F19XsxG1s3%2BIY%2BSlHJIWRhJPWXJVSRkipBS8BHIkBUpHoHLrXt6jis%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR87_1urjYA
  20. Thanks Chris, I ended up finding one on eBay and probably paid waaaay too much for it. I saved up all of my money as a kid to buy this game and I really wanted it back in my collection. Now if I can figure out how to get message alerts here I will be all set. Sheesh.
  21. Yikes! It's been 10 years! Updated the AtariAge Dashboard Feed plugin for WordPress 5.7.1. Changes include adding the AtariAge logo to the WordPress plugin page banner and we added an icon as well! (Hope you don't mind Albert The small 'configure' link has been moved to the left to get it out of the way of the AtariAge shield and I updated a few links. Overall this is really meant to comply with the latest version of WordPress and to let everyone know it's still being supported. And will someone please leave a nice review of the plugin on WordPress, it's pretty barren over there Please let me know if you have ideas for any updates and of course if you spot anything broken. Download the latest plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/atariage-dashboard-feed/ Download an older version here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/atariage-dashboard-feed/advanced/ View screenshots: https://doc4design.com/atariage-dashboard-feed/
  22. Looking for a boxed copy of Spider-Man for the Atari 2600. Prefer the cleanest CIB copy available but would consider others. Mostly sentimental in nature, let me know if you have one to sell. Thanks
  23. Wow, that is one nice machine. Emailing you now.
  24. Kyle22, Holy crap that was harsh I take it you're not a fan of the XEGS. That particular system happens to have a color scheme that goes with the shoot. Keep in mind this is photo shoot is not specific to Atari either, more of a representation of the era. If I start adding elements that are too recognizable I run the risk of distractions. As a side note: I am an avid collector of Atari games and systems.
  25. I'm hoping someone out there has an Atari XE game system they would like to sell. I'm only really interested if it's in great shape. I don't need the peripherals and the machine doesn't actually need to work. I plan on using it in an upcoming photo shoot. If you have one for sale let me know the price and send over a few pics if you can. I would really appreciate it.
